Hooray! Just as good as seeing a major ad!

I need to start shopping a bit at a time now. It never is a one day thing for me because there's always something that goes on sale that I end up buying, even if I already thought I was done with the kids.

I don't see us doing a 4 gift holiday now because it's just us and there are only a couple of people I shop for otherwise. I will, however, try to get 4 nice items to donate.

I can't believe I got so excited to see the pie avatars in use...

I'm pleasantly surprised. Might have to try and find one near me.

Guaranteed time to myself, people watching and participating to some degree in the world's most chaotic scavenger hunt.

I don't think I fit into any of those completely but am definitely closest to being a diehard.

I don't know about the tablet (DH deals with the electronics) but I'm excited to see this ad because 1) I finally live near one and 2) it definitely looks like it's worth checking out, especially with the reveal your discount spot. Last time I did something like this at a store I got $100 off my purchase.

DH is ever getting eager - he asked if Best Buy's ad was out yet!

Whenever we feel like it - it's not like we have family dinners to go to and I've given up on cooking turkeys because no matter how small a one we get half always seems to get tossed. Maybe we'll order special take out... Boston Market is very close by...

If I wasn't feeling icky right now I'd be turning up the holiday music. The season has officially begun!

Once again my DD has come up with a most interesting request. She is really into pandas right now and so she has asked for... panda underwear! Mind you this is not as odd as some of the things she has come up with in the past couple of years (see prior odd gift threads for other mentions) but I have no doubt she will once again come up with something truly odd before BF. What requests have you gotten or made? I'm especially interested in hearing what anyone who is new to GD has encountered.

I'm going to start making lists and try to start buying but with limited hiding space I don't know... maybe the kids will be practical in their wishing this year (yeah right).
