Last year, we got some really good deals at Big Lots after Christmas. Like the chest of drawers with the 2 small drawers and then 2 large drawers in clear/white. But I agree, if you find the red and green tubs (like at Target) they will be on Clearance.
Good Luck!

Just got home from Home Depot and purchased a 7.5 foot artifical tree for $49.99. It is beautiful! So tired of my tree dying within a few days. I blame it on the weather here (burning hot during the day and then freezing at tnight). I did not buy a prelit tree only because I want the ability to change my lights if I decide to,
Good Luck!
P.S. Items were 50% off. They may go lower, but I don't know what will be left to go to 75% off.

Kohls has great deals (if there is anything left in stock). I went to Home Depot today and scored a 7.5 artifical tree for next year for only $49.99 and some other outdoor decor.
I love Target's deals, but if you don't get there early, you kind of miss out!
Good Luck!

Drove by my Target, the parking lot looked like Black Friday, so I think I'll wait a few more days. Did go to Home Depot and score some Christmas Decor at 50% off though!
Our Kohls was crowded, but even on the 24th, there was nothing left in the seasonal stuff, so I didn't even bother.
Hope there are still some deals at Target when I can finally get in there!

B'sha Tovah!!
Or, if the blessing has already arrived, Mazel Tov!!
Aren't you a sweetie! No, we are due in August, we just found out about our little surprise!

So, the Baby Sale/Clearance will begin in January? DH and I got an extra special Christmas present/blessing this year so the Jan Clearance sale would be awesome

Back from Target--don't forget to check for the Glad storage bundle (freezer bags, gallon bags and cling wrap) now $2.49 because the bags have holiday print. Glad freezer to oven baking pans (2 9x12 and one 8x8) are $2.49--and it's so much easier to take stuff to potlucks, etc when I don't have to worry about getting the pans back. Also Clorox wipes, 3 in a package for $3 and Palmolive 3 25oz bottles for $3.
Oh, almost forgot, the silicone baking sheets (you put them in the cookie sheets, etc) are also 1/2 off. I love baking with those so I picked up two.
Thanks for the reminder! I wasn't going to go, but now I might really have to! Esp since I have a Clorox wipe coupon!

Guys I've just joined this community... its great to know that some people are doing real good for others by telling them about the new and good deals :)
I have picked up my XBOX 360 Premium from TRU 2 nights back and the deal I got was just amazine :).... My Brother won a 25% off on any order in TRU(you have to use your American Exp CC ) through American Exp Wish List and the moment I got that GIFT CERTIFICATE I went to the TRU Store and got the XBOX 360 Premium ...
So I got it for (399 - 25%) $319 and $100 Gift Card and I used that GC to get an extra controller and a GOW Game ...so my total came around $325 (including taxes) for the Bundle ... even they said its a pretty good deal :) So thanks guys and hope to see some good deals again n again ... :)
Man, deals like get me all misty! I love it when people get awesome deals like that!
Congratulations! And welcome to a great community!

Was bummed that I missed this at first, but based on the replies, doesn't look like the one I saw on TRU. Oh well, too late for Xmas!

I just bought the Cuisinart on BF, and I have to say, I'm not in love with it. My old Mr. Coffee was much quieter (the grinder is outrageously loud)! If you are looking for a "first" coffee pot, I would go with a good ol' Mr. Coffee or similar for under $20 and buy a grinder for like $10.

We purchased ours at TRU, but I know you can get a much better sand from Lowes or HD.
-
That is awesome!
-
Congratulations! That is outstanding savings!
And I totally concur with all the thanks! This site rocks!

I have seen it at TRU and Target and also have seen ads on TV. It seems to keep kids entertained for quite awhile!
Will keep it in mind for my son's 6th birthday. Too much for Christmas already!

I had no idea there was an "actual" game! We just had a homemade one! I'll have to find one for a party we are attending this weekend. Our friends will laugh when they see it is a "real" game!
Thanks!

Hmm, haven't seen them around, but if push comes to shove, maybe get the ribbon from Michaels or JoAnns for you to make on your own.
Sorry! Good Luck!

I saw the BMG thing at TRU last weekend. There were a couple there. This was in Southern CA

I'll wait for the next Woot off. Sounds like a great deal, but I honestly can't spend that kind of money on me before the holidays!
-
RLP, what about the Hallmark ornaments? Will those go on sale after Christmas only?
-
For the Hallmark sale, I always go into the B&M store, so I don't have any advice for you. Those ornaments sell out quickly! If you have a Kohl's nearby, I would go into the store to find the ornaments you can't find. They always have a good supply the day after!

I too have placed quite a few oreders with Amazon.com and have not had any problems. The problem I encountered was trying to take advantage of the first round of votes when their system crashed. Other than that, I can't complain.
I hope that everyone who has experienced difficulties has more positive experiences with them in the future.

The 2 WalMarts around me are ALWAYS packed. And I have even tried going at like 10:00 PM at night. This is in So Cal.
-
Yes, I did find it harder to find items this year. And it was widespread, not just the hot items. I will definitely shop early next year as well!
-
Today, I found a cart while I was perusing WalMart and it was full of items that I for the life could not figure out what they were, but they MUST have been layaway items. The selection didn't seem like "go-backs". Anyway, nothing on clearance, but I did find a FP Digital Camera.
Good Luck!
