  1. Yep. A Willie Parker & Roethlisberger. DH is happy to add to his collection. (Porter is gone, time to hang that one up)
  2. My Walmart has competitor ads on the bulletin board at the front of the store. The cashier managers (the ones who stand at the little podium) also have copies.
  3. I got 2 Pittsburgh Steelers jerseys today for $37.50 - they were originally 75 bucks each!!
  4. I've been scoring awesome deals @ Macy's too.
  5. yep, my target had them on clearance too.
  6. most Hallmark stores have them
  7. We had this for our kids -- they loved it & played on it daily. My little one who was 4 1/2 when we got rid of it still played on it, but it was much too small for my 7 year old (he chose to climb on it & sit on the top.) We replaced it with a big wooden one last year. We gave it to friends of ours with much younger kids, they also seem to enjoy it. http://zoomcc.richfx.com.edgesuite.net/zoomcc_littletikes/Image/Media/JPD451VA_200.jpg Little Tikes stuff surely holds up. I have a house that was my nieces (she's now 20), we used the krylon plastic spray paint to brighten it up & changed the door from pink to blue--kids love it.
  8. I bought my Cuisinart Grind & Brew today -- it was on clearance at Macy's for $30, marked down from $139. Great deal.
  9. Macy's had TONS of Thomas the Train toys on clearance - they were marked down to $5 from $35. Great deal. They also had Disney Princess tiara's for $2 and a variety of Pirates of the Caribean stuff.
  10. My Hallmark had a bunch of bunny webkinz - they were 10.99/each. I bought 2 puppies for Easter baskets.
  11. I just received a copy of the spring/summer 2007 catalog the green & lilac are sweet. The French club at an adjacent school is using PC for their fundraiser. I though that was a great idea. I am going to call the consultant to get more info (PTO is making plans already for Fall fundraiser). Does anyone have experience with PC as a fundraiser? I'm sooo tired of wrapping paper.
  12. I always use the 20% too. They probably have the 20% built in to their margin. We think we're getting a good deal.
  13. It's all part of their gimmick policy, the Walmarts near me have their price matching policy posted at all registers. They will not match gimmicks like "set price (3 for 9.99)", BOGO, with card purchases- I think there are a few more that they consider gimmicks. In my experience a lot of times the younger cashiers will still match it. This policy is good for competitors, we have a small grocery store near our Super Walmart- I think that is the only reason they are still in business- they usually run "gimmick" ads b/c its Walmarts policy not to match'em.
  14. I LOVE my Dyson, I recommend it to everyone. It is pricey, but worth every cent. (think how much money you'll save on bags). I recall seeing a previous post that Lowes had them on sale. We use it for everything no job too big or small. I had a Wind Tunnel & hated it.
  15. Your Sunday guts are delivered on Saturday? That's awesome, we have 7-day delivery, I asked if we could get the Sunday extras delivered on Saturday & they said they couldn't do it. Yet, if I go to the little market in town they have them there & it's the same delivery person.
  16. If your plan is not due for a new phone, they can be pretty pricey. How picky are you? Ask friends/family if anyone has an old phone that you can use. Switching the service is very easy & only takes a few minutes.
  17. The portion of the Sunday paper with the ads is available on Saturdays.
  18. I want one. I'm trying to justify in my head spending $149 for a coffee pot. Do you really think it makes better coffee? Do you find that you are buying more beans than traditional coffee?
  19. I got WiiPlay w/ the additional remote yesterday, it's a lot of fun. DH & I were up late playing & looks like we will be tonight too. WiiPlay is instructional which is nice (surprised that it didn't come with the system). I'm watching him & the boys bowl now.
  20. If you are going to the shower, I would buy an actual gift. But for the wedding, a gift certificate or cash is the way to go. You can buy a gc for just about any store @ http://www.giftcertificates.com/index.cfm.
  21. I think they are currently running purchases greater than $299 no payments/interest for 12 months. They do this pretty often, a lot of times you can just ask at the customer service desk. I've done it several times.
  22. The cut/style makes a difference too. Regular/straight leg are longer than painter or loose fit. I have the best luck buying slims at OldNavy.com - they seem to always have regular/slims available.
  23. I think I saw diamond earrings with screwbacks in the Macy's ad last week.
  24. I went on Saturday and got a few good deals. Then bought 2 swim outfits for each son. I can't wait for summer!!!!
