OMG, BF has been a family tradition for as long as I can remember. Mom & Grandma used to go out every year and left dad home with us. I remember when I was probably 5, they went out to find a Whoopsi Doll for me. Of course I didn't hear the story until I was older. It wasn't until I was 15 when I was finally able to join in. By this time my niece was born and I was introduced to the chase for toys!! I've been doing this for 20 years!! My kids are the youngest, I'll be devistated when they learn the truth.

On Christmas Eve we exchange gifts with the entire family. We usually have 22+ in the name exchange, my SD receives all of her gifts on Christmas Eve because we don't see her Christmas day. My kids get their Santa gifts on Christmas morning. Our stockings are always last (we usually forget about them).

The logical side starts with the list. Then the impulse shopper steps in and takes over and I'm done. I start to buy things I don't need just because they are on sale or others are buzzing around the item.

We lost control several years ago and unfortunately there is no correcting the issue until the truth is out. Santa brings all of the presents and we only buy one shared gift.

We are usually out til about 8pm or so. We make a few rest stops at home to drop things our finds, pirk up or drop off shoppers etc. I can't wait!!!
