Just saw this. If it is true the the Google Nexus just got even better... 32GB Nexus 7 surfaces on Staples' business portal, roughly matches 16GB model's price http://www.engadget.com/2012/10/16/32gb-nexus-7-staples-advantage/ What appears to be a 32GB Nexus 7 has already been spotted in Japan, and now a screenshot reveals that the slate has been listed on Staples' business-centric storefront. Staples Advantage pegs the tablet at $248.37, placing it on par with the current 16GB model. If a Nexus 7 with beefed-up storage and a price tag similar to the one above does materialize, Google could put one of the current models on the chopping block to maintain its two SKU offering. The retailer also lists an October 18th availability date, but we're not holding our breath for such a quick reveal.

I think stores are getting desperate. Today when Bed Bath and Beyond would not take my expired coupon I walked out of the store. Got to my car and someone came running out of the store to tell me they would accept the coupon. It was only for a $40 item... Not the first time a store has gone out of their way to get a sale.

I know alot of people say not to get Westinghouse... I got one back in 2006 a 32inch and it runs perfectly. We have moved 1x and moved it several times inside our house. Still works great like when new. Right now its in the basement waiting to be installed on the wall. I upgraded to a 42inch 3D smartTVfor my bedroom last year so DH has taken it for his shop...

Flatware/Dinnerware? Who would have a good deal on Black Friday?
racerfan replied to momee2twins's topic in 2012
Noehlp I also saw the matching salt and pepper shakers they had a coupon you could get it for free on the pfaltzgraff website. I have to say I am IMPRESSED with them. I ordered late Sunday nite and my dishes are being delivered TODAY!!! By the way I ordered the "Ocean Breeze" http://demandware.edgesuite.net/aaci_prd/on/demandware.static/Sites-Pfaltzgraff-Site/Sites-lifetime_catalog/default/v1350370608396/Pfaltzgraff/productimages/thumbnail/K1895226_t.jpg http://www.pfaltzgraff.com/ocean-breeze-32-dinnerware/K1895226,default,pd.html?cgid=OCBRZ -
I just asked DH and he said if he is going to use it at home a lot then he would go cordless. Check to see if he has a cordless drill and what brand, the larger drill batteries will fit the saw which will come with its own battery but he would then have a backup if they are the same size battery.

I will also mention the the DATA. We just upgraded all our phones recently to 4 smartphones (DH and I already had smartphones) We have AT &T and they waived our activation fee also. Both kids DS16 and DD14 and DH have the Iphone5. I don't think the iphone4 will go up it will stay as free with a 2 year activation. The 4s I think is now $50. I recommend the Otterbox Defender. When we were upgrading I looked into changing from AT&T to Verizon but I found that Verizon was more expensive with their MobileShare compared to AT&T. We have 10gb of data shared between 4 phones we pay $240/month (not counting the $50 discount that DH gets thru work. 6gb of data was $230/month. Verizon charges $260/month for 6gb of Data. Both kids have the Pandora app on their iphones and stream sometimes all day via data when they are out. So far we have used about 1.5gb combined with all phones. I am home most of the time so on wifi. Just to let you know that pandora does not use that much data. UTube on the other hand uses ALOT of data. I do feel that the 8gb may be a little small for your kids since they may download alot of apps as well as music and pictures. I don't know how much the 16gb would be. DS16 had a 16gb ipod and was almost full with the apps he downloaded. Both of my kids have not download alot of apps yet *they have only had the iphone since the day they came out I think 9/21" so will have to see how much space they actually use in the months to come. DH has the 32gb but he plans to transfer all his songs from his Zune to the iphone (has 8gb in music alone on Zune) I hope I was able to help a little with what we have.

I would go with a Dewalt. DH loves them and has a their reciprocating saw

Flatware/Dinnerware? Who would have a good deal on Black Friday?

I just ordered a service for 8 from Pflatzgraff last night. Could not wait for BF our dishes are falling apart. I had some great coupons. 40% off 1 item and then another 25% of entire purchase. The dishes were originally $179.99 (40% off $72) also got 4 deep soup/cereal bowls (20% of one item) so $19.99 (set of 2) $39.98 (minus $4.00) and got a trivet for $14.99 Total charge delivered (free shipping over $99) $126 after all the coupons which they allow to stack. Thought that was a great price especially since they have a lifetime guarantee on their products and if you have to return they will give you 50% of another set of dishes... -
I never used to buy my kids clothes but they never used to care what they wear. Now that they are into Hollister, Abercrombie, and even Aero and a pair of jeans can cost $80 (I have never paid that) I will shop all year and pick up stuff from these stores (not counting when I take them back to school shopping) and they are included under the tree. On top of that this year I have no idea what to get my DS16 will be 17 on 12/21. DS has a tablet, desktop computer (does not want a laptop) ipod touch (which he no longer uses) just got the iphone 5, beats headphones, Turtle beach headset etc. He has everything... I plan on giving him cash in various boxes since he has his permit and hopes to have his license by March so will probably be looking for a car then. At least with the clothes it also fills up under the tree. The only video games DS is asking for is Halo4 and Borderlands2. I have one pre ordered and already purchased the other but not sure how long can hold onto it since DS says he will walk over to Walmart from school and buy it if he does not get it soon... argggg TEENS!!!
-
You could also get him a really good headset like Turtle Beach. My DS16 got that last year and says he wishes I had gotten it for him earlier. You could also get clothes, Aeropostale, Hollister, Abercrombie (all have been having some really great sales lately), gift cards to food places, a prepaid visa gift card so he could use later on. I heard that Microsoft is doing away with the points (DS told me not to get him any points for that reason). Other options are axe body stuff, chapsticks... I will try to remember what are some of the things I get my DS and my Nephews.

Gamestop has on their website the 250gb Holiday bundle with Kinect and 2 games (not sure what games) for $349. This bundle is what Walmart etc may have the deals on with an additional gift card.
-
I am pretty sure as the weeks go on there will be better deals on the Xbox. Last year Walmart had it with Ithink a $10 gift card back. Also a 4gb is not very big when it comes to saving info for games. I don't know how old your children are, but when my DS had the 20gb older Xbox he ran out of room. He go the curret slim version and has no problem with space.
-
Not sure when it started. I have a Kindle Fire HD on pre order and it shows sales tax on my charge. Its $299 + tax. I think my balance is $316.94. I know there is tax charged in NY not sure about NJ. One way to go around it is to buy from a third party seller who uses Amazon to ship. The Kindle is direct from Amazon so can't do that.

One video game ordered for DS16 (I have his Birthday on 12/21 and then Xmas for him to get)

I don't think layaway is open on BF at Walmart. I did ask Kmart if their Layaway will be open and mine said yes. They did say the line is VERY LONG on BF.
-
For the money you have to spend you can go with one of the higher end tablets like the Asus. Last year we got our two kids the the Asus Transformer and the Acer Iconia A500. Both were onsale BF Asus for $249 and Acer $199. DS has they docking keyboard for his Asus. I am hoping there will be similar on sale this BF To travel he will just neef wifi wherever g e is to get online.

Its sad that Amazon now charges tax in PA

What items are you hoping for the best deal on for Black Friday?
racerfan replied to ChristmasShopping's topic in 2012
You don't have to go into the store to make payments. When I put anything on layaway at Kmart I make my layaway payments online on the day they are due or the day before. You can even open a layaway online and pick up in your store.
