Yes I just noticed that they started this. What I find strange is that it is not all things. I ordered some hi lighters for about $2 and they shipped them all by themselves via UPS instead of via Fed Ex smartpost, but yet an order that I placed that was over $100 they send via Fed Ex smartpost and it ended up at y post office because it cannot fit into the mailboxes we have at the entrance into our community. I then have to drive into town to pick it up. Really annoying since it is quite a few miles to the Post Office.

I think I will have to agree with you. Mine are older not sure if they will even want the Wii U but I do since I love anything Nintendo. ntendo

Looked at Walmart and the futons there are hard as a rock. Would not be comfortable to sleep on. Have not checked JC Penney yet. I am online looking now. TOmorrow we will check out Ashley Furniture. After the bed is found have to look for a tall dresser and a chest of drawers for her. We will be eventually getting rid of all her furniture since it is slowly falling apart. Our gift to her will be combined with all the money she gets for her birthday, plus Xmas is coming so have told everyone to give her money to put towards the rest to do her room over. She is thrilled.

Yes I saw those I have to go pick up a couple. Right now she has her bed turned so it looks like a couch but the problem with it is that the headboard back is not the same as what shows on the front so it looks funny. I have never had any luck with Craigslist around here. There is never anything offered for sale in good condition. Have really bad ads there. :( :(

DD14 has decided that she wants a "couch" bed for her birthday which was yesterday. Actually she wants a room makeover as combo birthday/xmas. We are starting off with trying to find a "couch bed" or daybed etc. From there we can get the furniture. Does anyone have any recommendations on places. We have checked out Raymour & Flanagan and will be looking at Ashley Furniture. We live in NE Pennsylvania. Does anyone know of any online places they could recommend. What we saw at Raymour & Flanagan were ok but she did not "love" any of them. Thanks

That is fine about the TV since he uses the one in our living room. My router is upstairs and his TV is downstairs. What will I have to get to connect it to the router. We have one of those things you connect to something and make it wifi will that work. Used to use it on the old Xbox 360. I will be picking it up on Monday from BB

Yes I saw that. I am getting the extended warranty with BB it is only $20 for 4 years so if there is a problem I would just take it back to BB. I was just wondering if anyone had it and how they found it worked when they are away from home. I just ordered it and will pick it up on Monday and will hide it until next weekend when we will give him his presents. I hope it works for him. He would really like to watch his Nascar races when he has all this time during the week. He also records a lot of shows and lately never has time to watch them. Thanks

Does anyone have this? I was looking at it after GD posted it today for $99.99. DH birthday is in 2 weeks (the 31st) and thought this would be a great present for him. He is away from home for most of the week, and lately has been working on weekends too. He stays at his Dad during the week so has a laptop down there with wireless internet service. He also has a smartphone. He watches NASCAR and usually records the races on his DVR at home. I thought this would be great for him so he could watch his recorded shows or if possible live TV in NYC at his Dads. His Dad does not have cable TV just regular TV. I read that the box needs to be near our Modem/router. Our modem and router is upstairs and his DVR box is downstairs. We do have one of those things that we used on an older Xbox that was not wifi and made it wifi. Can I use that on this Slingbox. Would really love some answers from anyone who has it since it is on sale today and would like to take advantage of it being almost 50% off. If this would not work for DH is there something else that would. Thanks so much.

Sprint service is horrible where I live. Their fees are also more expensive. Just for the family plan like what we have the prices are similar but they have not come out with a plan similar to what the new Att mobile share plan is. They do have unlimited data and unlimited everything which starts out at $209.99/month for 2 smart phones and each additional one would be $89.99. Their current family plan has the same price for the 700 minutes we have now, plus $15/month for their Data pack per line (not unlimited). Their unlimited messaging is an add on also for $20 so they are actually $10/month cheaper than what we have now.

We pay $15.27/month for our kids basic phones. For my smartphone we pay $41.12/month DH has the charge for the 700 minutes and for the unlimited texting plus $15/month for 200mb of data then minus his discount. We dont get his discount on the additional phones. His charge is $107.50/month. With the new plan he will have the $120 plus $30/month charge for his phone plus taxes then minus his discount and then the other 3 phones will be $30 plus taxes I just spoke to someone at Att and we can try the plan out and adjust or data accordingly if we find we have too much if we start off with 10gb or too little if we start off with 4gb. Also DD is now eligible we thought we had to wait until the 31st. The new plan is going into effect on 8/23 so I will be getting rid of my hunk of junk and getting a new phone. I can wait.

Remember to add in the cost of the smartphone to your total. $40 per smartphone THEN plus the data. No more $10 add-a-lines. We have basically the same plan as you. It is much more expensive with 4 smartphones. Yes I forgot to add that we also pay $10 a line now so that is $30 plus it is $30/month for the unlimited text plan. The plan I am looking at will work out to $240/month for 10gb of data, unlimited text and talk. If I go with 6gb its $230/month with all of having smartphones. If we went with only 2 smartphones and 2 basic phones and say 4gb of data its $210/month. For the extra $30/month we could all have smartphones plus 10gb of data. To me it makes sense plus since we no longer have a landline plus DH spends a lot of time in the city he will be able to watch some netflix etc while at work when he is only on standby. I am told 10gb is a lot and since I really don't use alot and the kids wont either its mainly for DH which I know he will enjoy. I hope I am explaining it correctly. What do you think about the new cellphone plans Verizon's Share Everything vs Att Mobile Share? I have Att now and was looking to switch to Verizon because it seems there is better service with them over here where I live in PA. DH has great service in NYC with Att and we have great service once we leave our little town. I checked their pricing and now Att has posted their pricing for their plan (not out yet) and it looks like they will be cheaper. Based on what we would need 4 smartphones their 10gb plan is $20 cheaper than Verizon's 6gb plan. DH also gets a discount of 22% with Att (according to Verizon they don't give NYC Local 3 a discount which surprises me) Does anyone have the Verizon plan. I know 10gb is alot but there is only a $10 difference in Att price between 6gb and 10gb. Its a difference of $20 from what we are paying now and we have 2 smartphones with minimum data, 700 minutes and unlimited text and 2 basic phones. For us it sounds like a win win. Thanks

I can't wait. I don't care what day they open I will be there. I feel bad for the employees but happy they are there to open for me Last year I camped out for 25 hours before BB opened. Not sure if I will have to do that again all depends on what is offered. I will be looking for a tablet and a new laptop for ME!! The kids want money this year DS is saving for a car and DD wants her bedroom redone. They both got tablets last year and DD got a new laptop DS desktop will be 2 years old but works great, so they really don't need anything this year and I will be happy to give them money.

Something to look into. My DS had to get one but it was for home use. Our school had enough for them to use while in school. That way I did not have to worry about him losing it or it getting stolen. I would call the school and see. We did not find out until school started that he did not need to carry it to school just for home use. It would have saved me a lot because he could have borrowed his cousins. Now I know so DD is starting HS this year and wont have to run out and buy for her they can share the one at home.

Wow what a great post. Wish I could help I am in the same boat. I am looking for furniture for my DD who is turning 14 the middle of August. As various school years start they will go on sale. I got my DS his for $60 right after his school year started from Walmart of all places, They matched an Office Depot ad

5 Below is not bad but it is one of those hit or miss stores. Last Xmas I got Kindle ereader and 10" tablet covers for $5. Same ones that I had seen at Target for $20. I watch their flyers and if see something worthwhile I run there first thing the first day of the sale.

Try Walmart. I got some frames to give the boys moving up from age group swim. They had a variety of sizes. I got the black frames but they also had wood look ones too.

You did not offend me at all I just knew that for us the Ipad would not work. I do like the ipad and was tempted to get one but the memory thing was not enough for us otherwise I think its fine too. Yes the external drive does plug in the ipad and you can get a portable drive that is really small, and it also can be plugged into a computer, or tablet (its not just for ipads). I have actually have several at home I use to back up our pictures and videos from my computer. I learned the hard way when my laptop crashed I almost lost all my pictures on it. Luckily I had been using external hard drives as backup. Now I back up on one and have pictures only on another. Each of my kids also have them to back up their laptops.
