does anyone else hate going to their inlaws for the holidays? I love everything about the holidays except knowing that at some point having to go there. They don't enjoy kids and their home feels like a musuem. Anyone have any ideas how to make a trip to the Grandparents house fun for the kids?

Does anyone know if this doll is as great as they make it look on the tv ads? My daughter wants it for Christmas, but I can't bring myself to spend the 100.00 dollars for it if it really isn't worth it. Also, has anyone heard of it going on sale chaper than that? Thanks!!!

I go home and go through all the stuff. After that, I pass out on the couch and take a nap. That night , we usually watch Christmas Vacation. It's our big family thing to do here.

long underwear and a really warm coat!!!!!!!! I live where it could be -10 by then and that's without the windchill figured in!!!!!!!!! Layers are really great too!

I'd really like to spend no more than 600-700 hundred this year........don't know how realalistic that is though! funny how the little things add up quickly like stocking stuffers and so on. Anyone know something fun, but inexpensive for stockings for a 4 year old and 10 year old???

I've had friends tell me they had no idea what BF even was!!!!! They think I'm nuts to go stand in a long line at 3 am with nothing but a cup of coffee. These people have no idea what they are missing out on!!!!!Long live BF!!!

I try to make sure I have some of the more expensive things, but really try to make the money stretch. I find good bargins on some of the smaller things and the kids think it's just the greatest! They are to spoiled with all the other family we have......there are no other kids except mine!!!!!!!!UGH!!!!!

Kohl's is great even when it's NOT BF! They have a lot of 50% off sales. I even just got a gift card in the mail the other day for 10.00 off. Our Kohl's is really busy on BF!!!!!!!!!!!!! Worth taking the time to go shopping there if you get a chance!

This year I am REALLY trying to make my dollars stretch farther! I'm trying to read up on things BEFORE I go to the store. I have a terrible habit of buying just to buy. Plus, I don't use credit for Christmas. IThat way I ONLY spend what I really can afford to !!!!!!! Anyone have any good ideas how to save a little money, but still have a great holiday???
