I have done this for years with my kids....just make sure that it gets sprinkled outside and not inside like my son did years ago!!!! That was one heck of a mess!!!!! Carrots work great too!

I always have it in our lvingroom at the front window. I would have rather put it in the familyroom, but there is just no room. I do have to say, it makes the livingroom look REALLY pretty all done up!!

Since I can't afford to go out and buy them since my husband is in the military, I thought it was really great for my cousin to want to send us a package from there for Christmas!!!It's a treat we otherwise wouldn't have had!

We've been at FT Drum for 2 and a half years. We love it except for the ice cold winters! Get some really warm long johns!!!

I have a son around that age and he just loves anything Starwars or Legos. At least with the Lego's, he can build and build and build until he just can't think of anything else to do!

I wasn't hungry until we all kept talking about food......time to go fix a snack I guess since I have to wait until Dec for my steaks!!!!

Has anyone used the Picture People for their Christmas photo cards? I am thinking about getting my kids photos done with them and having them made into cards. They aren't as cheap as a lot of other places, but their pictures look really cool. Are they worth paying a little bit more, or am I better off sticking with Sears?

I have found going to Dollar tree, you can get some cute little odds and ends. I love to get my daughter things for her hair and my son loves those stuiped Yu-g-io cards.I can't wait until he outgrows those!!!:che:yelclap: esy:

My cousin just called and asked me if I'd want to have Omaha steaks as a Christmas present!!!!! We're on a very tight budget since my husbnad is in the military, so this is something we wouldn't do for ourselves. She didn't say what it was that she was going to send, but wanted to make sure it was something we'd enjoy. Are these really as good as they say, or are they just normal tasting steaks with bigger price tags???

We open 1 the night before and then open everything else Christmas morning. My husband and I always sneak downstairs and have the lights turned on for the kids!!!!!!!
