I have thought about this and I should say I saw the ad after standing in line for 36 hours and about 4 hours of sleep. There is a pink hand held game system on the front page and the more I think about it the more I am not 100 % sure what it was. Sorry wish my brain would have been functioning better at the time but it wasn't.

Just curious. I am still on the fence on the Wii. Is this something that if I decide in December I want to go ahead and get my kids will I still be able to get it? Trying to debate if I need to go get in line again or not i guess is what I am saying.

I saw the ad tonight I was really tired so I did not look that hard at it but on the cover is a pink DS.

That is what my sis in law does. And my mom and ex mother in law did the same. I am guessing that is what we will do as well. Well when we come to that bridge a long long time from now .

My God daughters is Christmas Eve. We always make sure nothing she gets for her bday is wrapped in Christmas wrap. They also always have a party for her that it is strictly bday.

My DD and DS typically go thru ads each week. DD usually makes both thier lists in the end. They use email to email thier dad a list. Or tell him on the phone.

Depends on what I am going to cook and who all is coming over. If DH does not fry a turkey I put the turkey on that night. I will make a cherry cream pie the night before too. Occasionally I will make the casseroles so I just have to pop them in the oven the next day.

We have XM and love it. They have different plans, and if you pay ahead you get a better deal. I don't remember how much the first one is a month but I know our other 2 are 6.95 a piece I believe. We got the 150 card the last time we bought an XM and I can't remeber the last time we actually had a bill. They will send me a new one when its time lol. I thought it was the biggest rip off when DH first wanted it. Told him he was insane to pay for radio. Well now I only listen to regular radio from 6 to 10 in the morning because I have listening to the same radio show for well over 5 years. I really wish they would flip to XM as well .

I would have to say I have a small plastic shoe size box of ornaments my kids have made thru the years. I truely adore all of the ones in that little box. :)

I remember seeing these when I was like 12 and thinking they were very cool. Course 20 years later I am not so sure .

My daughter and her best friend went last night and they loved it. I tried to get DH to go to the movies since DS spent the night with his best friend and he said no he didn't want to go. DH said oh that is what they went to see... I would have wanted to see that. Sigh

Tilting my head at this one. Since when? We still had one in Longview right before Halloween... they had a ton of Christmas stuff in lawn and garden you could see from the street. I guess I will have to look again when I am that way this weekend.

Gotta go with a ps3 would love to get my hands on two. We shall see.

We do it the weekend after Thanksgiving usually. But it is warm here in Texas so we don't have to deal with the cold weather. :)

I agree with firemans James Avery makes some really pretty little charms. Maybe one of the sterling ones with a silver necklace?

Does he listen to a lot of music? What about XM radio? They have a lot of all sports stations as well. You mentioned Michael Vick what about something signed for him? Try ebay ... be sure to get a certificate of authentication if you do go that route. That is why I have 25 or so to buy for every year. If we are going to buy we buy for everyone that comes into contact with my kids. Course they go to a very small school but we buy for the custodians, all my sons therapists, lunch ladies, the lady in the office .... well you get the point.

Well we do not do the Angel tree anymore. The one in our area set a bad taste in my mouth when I found out some people that I know who are on it , and should not be. We always pick a family and try to help them. It is always someone we know that would not get help otherwise. You have to remember most of these trees are set up at least in the first of November. So anyone who falls on hard times at a later date are not helped by them. We do it this way from personal experience of having a really bad November and December. I found out way to much about how the system works at that point. So needless to say I am very jaded about the whole thing. At least if I buy for a family I know, I know it isn't someone playing the system.

Have not even started. Probably won't until BF. If I can get my hands on a PS3 that is the only thing I will buy before hand. And honestly if they continue to go for what they have been on ebay DS won't get it I will sell it and give him the cash to buy it later on.

Well that is just frightening.

We have three of the rubbermaid gift wrap containers. One for Christmas one for bdays and one for "other". I have gotten them all over the years on clearance and love them.

I went with my mom and a friend of hers for years. Can remember when I was "allowed" to go hold the place in the checkout line and I thought that was the coolest thing ever lol. I didn't go for a few years after my mom died because it was just to sad. I finally came to terms with it will never be the same but that is no reason to not go and enjoy. My 13 year old daughter has gone with me the last two years ... she had been begging to go for years. We truely enjoy the day. That and the day after Christmas are our days to spend together and shop. It is really nice to be restarting that tradition with her. :)

We buy for one family every year, usually on BF just because we can do more for the same amount of money on that day. Not toys for tots or anything like that but a family we personally know who needs help. We had a bad year one year DH lost his job the week before Thanksgiving and the only help we got was from people who personally know us. So we try to find a family that is in that same boat, sadly we have never had a shortage of families to find to help. If you have not been there you have no idea how truely horrible the system is on the length of time it takes to get any kind of help. On the plus side it is something my dd deeply enjoys doing. She has already named a few families for me to check in on for this year. I am very proud at how much enjoyment she takes in picking out toys and things for another family.

DH has Madden 07 the hall of fame edition. Has something extra on it that he really wanted.
