Yeah, some of my items rang up a few dollars less than the ad, even the flyer price. I was pleasantly suprised when they did though.lol I had the b&w flyer we got on the lower prices, but a few things were even cheaper.

You are so right. LMAO At our WM when it turned 5am, it was a war zone. I mean complete and utter chaos. Survival of the fittest is what it reminded me of.

I would try to find out what happened but I know several people here bought their's Wednesday at the BF price. This could be what happened. Either that or they let the employees buy them, but if they did that's wrong.

That not only sucks but those people are stupid. No way would I stand there and hold spots for someone. They would have to stand there with me.lol:insane:

I can't believe I stood in line from 6pm Thursday til 5am Friday for a laptop for someone else. But I was only getting one and it was for my mom. She wasn't too lazy to wait for it but I didn't want her standing there all night.lol I understand what you are saying, if someone was holding a spot so that they could rush up and get one at the last minute, I would be so pissed.

The people behind me for the laptop at WM bought three. They had the wife buy one for them, the hubby bought one for his mother, and the daughter bought one for herself for college. They were all going to seperate homes though. The limit was one per person, not one per family. I'm not sure what the situation was but I saw that happen at WM.

I couldn't afford the $400 xbox 360. Even at regular price, let alone at eBay prices.lol

You are right, if someone stood in line and bought ONE and wanted to sell it, that's a good idea. I don't have a problem with that at all. I think we are talking about two different situations. I think that buying a large quanity of the dolls and selling them on eBay is greedy. I have no problem with what you are talking about.JMO

I totally agree with selling on eBay. I sometimes sell the dolls I make on there. I just think it's different to go to WM on BF buy a buggy full of CPK dolls for $10 each and sell them on eBay. What about the people in the store who had waited for hours and maybe they can't afford to pay full price, and didn't get one because of the people buying alot of them to sell on eBay.

Mugs, you are just a great guy. I hope ilalynch sees this. I know how it can be to worry about not getting the main things on the kids' lists. Also would like to add that I happen to like Laguna Beach. The kids were into it and I watched with them a couple of times and before I knew it I was wondering what was happening on LB.lol I also like The OC!

Everything got wrapped as soon as it came in yesterday. The sooner I wrap it, the less chance of the two little ones getting into it.lol

My DD was waiting by the stick vacs and she says that at 5am when the sale started, there was almost a riot over the Garth cds.lol I had thought about getting one for my sister but I told DD not to go near them for fear that she would have gotten hurt. It is funny how WMs in different areas sold out of some things and others had some left. One post on here said that their WM still has Care Bears, LMAO, at our WM, those Care Bears were only a memory at 10 minutes to 5. Someone came straight in the store, ripped them open, and the dust started to fly.

Well, I read this before taking off and have decided to save my coupons for something else. Thanks mugs. I missed that thread somehow.

I am the same way. With five kids, I am not being GREEDY when I buy five of something, I am saving myself alot of pain and suffering that I would have to endure if I brought one or two home.lol

I am taking it the way I read it, sorry if I misunderstood. But you were referring to the "economically challenged" and saying that you don't think they should be able to layaway BF items. You also said, "If you have the money now you get it, if not, you don't." I am simply stating that BF is the best time for people on a tight budget to get their presents and have a great holiday for their kids. If they need to put it in layaway, or just CHOOSE to, that's great! If you read my posts I also explained how someone I met NEEDED three laptops. They were paid for by three people to go to three houses. Again I think you are assuming. Your OP came off a little snobby and almost hateful. Again, if I misunderstood, I apologize.

Our WM is the same way. If you are lucky enough to find any blitz items a week from now, they will still ring up for the BF price because they have special barcodes on them.

Our WM was great this year in the way that they handled everything. It was the customers who were awful. In the past our WM has been awful. I went super early to check things out and they told me at 6pm Thursday that the laptops would be first come first serve and that they only had 15. They also told me to feel free to get in line whenever I wanted to. So, I decided it was worth staying for. All night they were placing pallets around the store and letting us knkow where everything was. Then at 5am the place turned into a war zone!!!LMAO

Oh, yeah. The vcrs were crap. I bought one and had nothing but problems with it. But the tvs seem to be great.

I didn't get one but it seemed like a great deal to me. I'm glad you are enjoying your tv!
