I don't have a choice I have to let mine use the computer. The kids don't have text books at school this year. They all got discs that they downloaded to the computer and that is their book! They have to use it for their homework. Only the kids without computers got books. They are trying to phase out the books and go strictly to computers. The kids already have laptops that they carry from class to class to use all day. By next year the school district wants each kid to have one to use at all times instead of any books. They said in the recent school board meeting that in the end it is more cost efficent.

Hubby and I have gotten two of our gifts from my parents already, 20" tv/dvd combo for our bedroom, the old one was dead!LOL We also got a new digital camera from them, we have been using a 35mm!LMAO She always gives us our big presents first but we each have two smaller ones to open tomorrow night. I got a set of candles from one aunt and a Bath and Body Works gc from another aunt.Guess which aunt is my favorite!LOL Hubby got his Christmas bonus from work, WOOHOO! The rest of our gifts will be opened tomorrow night.

Debbie, I totally agree with you. My oldest son is 17 and he doesn't have his own computer. The kids now have one to share because mom got the laptop on BF and gave them her desktop. It's in the same room as mine and I try to keep a close eye on what they are doing on it. They have been asking for their own computer for a while now and they haven't seemed to mind one bit that they didn't get one as soon as they get all of the other gifts. We are getting our oldest a laptop in the spring, but that is also for him to use when he goes away to college. Big difference. I don't think you have anything to worry about. And Ross, they asked for bikes for their birthdays this year or that is exactly what they would have gotten for Christmas!LOL

It's a nice sunny 67 here and supposed to be near 70 for the next four days! So, no snow for us!LOL

I was in WM today and they are starting to put some things on clearance now. Not Christmas stuff, but some of the gift baskets and other small things. They are probably hoping to get rid of some of the gift sets because they are fully stocked on them with just a couple of days to go!

No, but my kids and the dogs do!LOL It doesn't even look like the same tree I put up!

I know the feeling. I finally did my grocery shopping for the weekend. A big ol' $210.00!!! And that was using coupons! But it for the entire weekend and that's Christmas Eve breakfast, lunch, snacks, dinner, birthday party, and Christmas morning breakfast and dinner. So I guess it wasn't too bad!LOL I also got a few other things that were on sale for next week.

I am still glad DS didn't ask for one this year!LOL He is patiently waiting for the PS3!

Our new "baby" Gizmo thinks he's helping the kids out by ripping the paper after I have wrapped everything!LOL I have had to rewrap several things already!

We get a paper on all holidays here. I will definitely go to WM, CVS, and Walgreen's. I'm sure I'll go to Hallmark, too. After that I may take a short trip over to the nearest town with a Target and Hobby Lobby! Who knows?!?!?LOL At this point I just want to survive the weekend!

I used to go but don't anymore. I will more than likely go Christmas Day! I will probably be going more often also.

Just have to shop for groceries. Everything else is done and I am bored to death!LOL The kids and I got all of the laundry done and got the house cleaned today so...we are just waiting!

I love our WM's clearance. I got my two youngest sons some of those sleeveless shirts for .50 also! They will have plenty to play in when the weather warms up.I have also noticed that they are cheaper now on some of the things I buy my kids. My girls love their sports wear and it will go on clearance right after Christmas. It will still be cool enough here for them to wear it for a while before it gets too warm.

The Big sale I caught at Belk!LOL I got $700 and something worth of clothes for $218.00!!!! I can't wait for my kids to open them. The laptop at WM on BF, the $40 jeans I got my DD for $12 at Ross. Or the digital camera at WM on BF. I love it, but I also love my 20" tv/dvd combo from WM on BF. Several more but I am most excited about those, and the freebies I have been getting!LOL

I remember reading the thread with this deal in it. I wasn't looking for a laptop so I didn't pay any attention to the specifics of the deal though.

Well, I admit I have a problem, so what's the next step?!?!?!LOL I don't know if I've ever spent so much time on one site. It's sad, if I get off of here and go to watch tv with hubby he asks what's wrong with me?!?!?!?LMAO

My son is also waiting for the PS3. I was so happy that he didn't really want the 360. I'm not ready to camp out again this soon after BF!LOL

That sucks! I always buy the cheapie electronics at WM and haven't had any problems out of any of them yet. Thankfully my son's stereo that we got him for Christmas 4 years ago on BF is still going strong. I think we paid $35.00 for it, or something like that.

I miss our KMart!!! We don't have any anywhere near here.

DOVE!!! I tried it when it first came out and have been hooked ever since! I love all of their products. Especially the facial cleansers. Before I tried it, I used nothing but Secret.
