I am expecting ~$350 in rebate. I guess the total saving would be around $500. My final out of pocket cost is less than $300. So it is around 62.5% off.

No luck with CompUSA, but Meijer put up a notice saying they'll PM anything even doorbuster items of other stores.
-
Besides Staples, Meijer is my favorite BF store. Meijer not only stocked up for their door buster items (even some left on Saturday), they put up a notice at the entrance saying they'll PM anything from other stores even doorbuster items. Does any other store go that far?
-
The rebate form is also inside the Newspaper coupon pages. Limit 1 per item.
-
I tried PM at CompUSA on BF, they just denied it. They don't do any PM on BF sales. While Meijer put up a notice at the entrance saying they'll PM anything even doorbuster items. Guess where I'll shop next year.

Got the Cyberhome 1600MU. Put it to test today to burn video with Firewire input. It works with both my Sony mini-DV camcorders in NTSC and PAL format. I did not expect the PAL to work but it does. The only problem is the not so smooth PAL to NTSC conversion. It is not clear if the frame drop was during recording or play back, but it is more likely to be the former case. The TV recording is also very good. The picture quality is around 95% of the original. I was about to update the firmware, but I found it is loaded with the latest one already. The region-code hack also works perfectly. I've tested Code 3 and All Code disk without problem. I also tried the divxtest disk. It plays Divx4/5/6 and XivD well. So far I am very satisfied with the purchase. The S-video I/O is crucial for me as I have some home video on S-VHS-C tapes. None of the other ones on sale has S-input. -
My CompUSA also refused to PM BF sales.

This one is nice except that it has no S-video I/O. -
There are 2 OD within a few blocks from me, but I am boycotting them. After all, I've spent a lot in the other stores already. Big Mistakes OD!!!

Both Staples and OfficeMax I went give tickets for early bird items. The Staples is very well organized while the OfficeMax is totally a mess.
-
I shopped at CompUSA, Meijer (3 times), Kmart, Target, Staples (twice), OfficeMax, CircuitCity, and ACE Hardware either online or at the stores within the past 28hours. I got most, if not all, the items I want and the list is too long to be posted here. I guess I have near 100 items total.

The instant off requires a five digit code which is shown on the product page on their web. The coupon code works since 5am EST but their online order system was not.
-
I have been trying to order the TurboTax Deluxe with State and the FAR Quicken Deluxe 2006 online since 5am this morning. The $30 instant off on Quicken did not show up online and there is no coupon code available. I finally called in and they verified that problem in their system. You better get that in-store or order by phone (800-3-staple). I placed my order on phone and they manually adjusted the price for me and I can use the $20 off $100 phone/web order coupon too. So my total for the TurboTax, Quicken, Norton Internet security 2006, and Norton SystemWork Preimere 2006 will be $19.99 plus $10.79 tax with free shipping AR.

Staples.com's order number: 1-800-3-STAPLE. They are hidding it on the web and the online chat is also gone.

I waited in line for 35min before store open at position #8. They handout tickets for first page items. I got the HD and laminator. I was trying ordering online at home before I went out. It kept giving me the error message. There are bagels, juice, milk, etc inside the store (new one at Ann Arbor) and I can use the $10 off coupon card on my purchase. That is the main reason I went out instead of keep trying at home. Now the HD is only $20 AR for me. I am still trying to get other stuffs from their website. There is still some glitches. The Quicken Deluxe 2006 has no code for the $30 instant off. Does anyone konw the code?
-
There were merely 100 people in line here in Ann Arbor. I walked into a friend who came after it opened and still grab a HD for $30AR. Check out took 10min for me. By the time I finish shopping there, I found around 100 people waiting for check out. So it is not very busy here at all. Of course, with 0F windchill, not many people will come out shopping. Nevertheless, I saw around 20 people waiting in line next door at BB. Poor guys.

Many items were available online since this morning.
-
You lucky guys in the warm area. Here is -7F with windchill. I did sleep for 3 hours already and I am going to CompUSA around 11pm.
-
With windchill at -7F right now, I don't think I'll stand outside for more than 30min. By the way, I am at Ann Arbor, MI.
-
Hi everyone. I just woke up and I am ready to go.
-
I'v slept for 3 hours. I am ready to go to CompUSA.

I don't think they jacked up the price on the buy one get one free games. The Kmart I went has no price on the games stacked on the aisle, I went to the shelf to check the regular prices and they are the prices scanned. The B1G1F need manual entry at the cashier. In addition, most of the games have rebate offer. The only games I bought are Twister ($14 for 2) and Scrabble ($11 for 2) before rebates.

Got everything but OfficeMax.
