Don't you have to spend a certain amount to earn the $10 gift card? You didn't just buy 1 Tasters Choice coffee and get the gift card, you had to purchase several of them? Is it the same promotion that they have been running in their ads for a few weeks now?

I'd check my credit card bill, Target decided something that I bought should have cost more than it said at checkout, so they billed it to my target credit card even though the email receipt they sent had the lower amount. Target.com transferred me to target credit card who transferred me to target.com who transferred me to target credit card who said she was going to transfer me and I started yelling at her on the phone. They kept telling me it was the other ones issue not theirs, it took an hour and 16 minutes on the phone to get them to credit me the overcharge. Target credit cards can look up a store purchase but not a internet target.com purchase, they can only see the total amount of the purchase and none of the information about the purchase.

I may have taken my kids out (11 & 12) if I thought they could stay up all night and not have made me have to bring them home in the middle of the night, but no way could they have handled shopping until 8:30 am! Plus we froze in the Menards line from 5-6 am. My husband got up at 5:30 and went to 1 store that opened at 6:00, he got there at 6:07 and they were out of 1 of the 2 things he went to get. He said that he learned his lesson, I had told him that I would be there 1/2 an hour early but 15 minutes was probably OK for Farm & Fleet. I think he may do it again next year and maybe if we all went together but took 2 cars he could bring the kids back home in the middle of the night. He said he wanted to experience the whole black friday thing and I think he's hooked. Plus my older son used to go with me and we could split up the stores and get more stores covered, so I need a new shopping partner.

I used up all my RR's on paper plates and drinks (Arizona Tea & Starbucks Mocha) because they don't have anything good in their sale this week or last, but I only paid like $2 for over $20 worth of stuff and it was stuff that we use all the time.

I did a Walmart giftcard for her last year. I just went to the store and got my mil the $79 Kindle from Target, I got a gift receipt so she can return it if she wants. My husband said she told him that she's been wanting one but I bet she never uses it, she couldn't figure out a cell phone or a computer no matter how many times we helped her and got rid of both. I used the Facebook coupon and got a $10 giftcard because I spent over $50. Now I've got to figure out what to get for my fil.

the nearest place here for the lessons is 1 1/2 hours away, so I don't think we'll be doing the lessons. the retail value of the lessons was more than the price of the guitar so I don't think they can charge you for the lessons

I remember believing in Santa! Answering my kids questions (like how does Santa go to every house in one night? magic dust of course) doesn't mean I'm convincing my kids that they are crazy, it means that I'm trying to keep them innocent as long as I can and keep a family tradition going. I don't necessarily think that just because they ask questions about it that means that they don't believe. They ask questions about lots of things like how does a refrigerator keep food cold, that doesn't mean they don't believe in refrigerators, it just means they are trying to figure it out.

Why would you come out and tell your kids if they weren't asking? And why would they be embarrassed? My answer is and will always be - if you don't believe in Santa you don't get gifts from him. I think my 12 yr old son knows, but I'm not going to bring it up to him unless he brings it up. 8 is not too old to believe in Santa!
