Is the only reason you are coming back then is to save 2% on tax? What are your big ticket items that you want to buy? And are you going to have been up for like 24 hours when you start your black friday shopping?

and I ALWAYS move the sale cards / signs to check what the price was before, and not just at Target!

I went yesterday at halloween was 75% off here too, I didn't see / check fall stuff though.

I know that for the past couple years when we are leaving to go to spend Thanksgiving with family early in the afternoon, there are always tents already set up outside Best Buy. I make my husband drive past there every year on our way so I can check it out.

I disagree with that statistic, it doesn't make any sense. to justify buying something they weren't going to buy at all? or something that was on their list? if my kids wanted an elmo doll and that elmo doll wasn't ever on sale but on bf it was 25% off at Target I would buy it. I wish everything I bought on bf was 50% off! I don't think everyone knows the percentage off they are getting, I think most people just know that they are getting something at a great price or that they won't be able to get it at that price any other day. If a bunch of stores open at midnight as predicted, I wonder how many people will be willing to give up their Thanksgiving evenings and naps to get in lines earlier than before?

Anything at Walgreens or CVS that says "WOW" or "hot buy" is all regular price. I have seen things at the grocery store that the "price cut" is a whole whopping 2 cents.

Don't forget you can use discounts and coupons and turn in your points... to get things even cheaper on BF! Most places can look up loyalty cards with your phone number.

I look at trees in stores to get ideas and put some ornaments on and then step back and look if you need to add more, or move some or there are empty spots... and keep doing that until it looks like you want.

I had forgotten about my new tree until reading this thread earlier today and I had also forgotten about all my new ornaments, now I am excited about my new tree! I don't remember if it was pre-lit or not.

Menards has on the front page of today's ad - Enchanted Forenst Now Open - so other stores have probably started to put it out too.

I finally found a white tree on clearance last year after Christmas! I've wanted one for so long but there are never any left after Christmas. I also found a bunch of ice skater ornaments 75% off at Macy's last year (my daughter is an ice skater) and I bought every single one of them, most of them were red & white I think. So that's what we are going to put on the tree this year. I'm very excited because I've always wanted a white tree but just didn't want to pay full price for it when we already have a tree that there's nothing wrong with.

Can someone explain what the deal is with this place? Isn't the stuff in the catalog the same price this Saturday at 7am as it will be next week? I don't get why people line up there every year early to buy stuff that will still be in stock and will be same price in a month. Am I missing something, is there some benefit to getting there early this Saturday?

Last time I got a dryer (maybe 2 years ago) it came with the cord I think, I just had to buy a new vent and I got it at the hardware store because it was cheaper.

I hope there's more than that, I'm not impressed with the items.

I got one before from one of these type of sites, but I'm not sure if it was OnSale.com or a different one, but I had no problems. I'll see if I can check what site it was. It was for a $10 Subway card and I used the card already.
