Hoodie with gift receipt so it can always be exchanged if the receipient doesn't like it. A small gift with a giftcard or a wallet with a giftcard in it. What's inexpensive? How much is your budget?

I was at a Walgreens today and they already had out some of the stuff with the signs, but I was in a hurry and didn't have my coupons with... so I didn't grab anything.

Thanks for reminding me about this, just made an appointment for my son. -
How can the ad have been mailed out to peoples houses, yet none of the black friday websites have it yet and it's still not even on the Mendars website ???
-
can you scan it and send it to brad?
-
If people got the ad in the mail today, how come it's not up on Menards website yet? And I just checked some other BF websites and none of them have it posted either?

I too loved the snowglobes and am a little sad to see them go, my 2 youngest each have a collection of them.

maybe she just really likes the snowglobes...

Do you think they will have restrictions on the RR's this year? I don't see anything in the ad, but I am trying to plan out my trip and am unsure if I should plan multiple purchases to use some of the RR's the same day or not. Were there restrictions on the Jingle Bucks last year or could we use them right away?
-
I've thought the same thing, there has been barely anything in the ad with rebates lately.
-
I save up my rebates all year for Black Friday. The last 2 years I purchased over $120 worth of stuff and end up paying under $20 Unfortunately this year I don't have that much in rebates, I used some of them for a project.

The ad says Wednesday, November 21 at 11pm EST / 10pm CST with Free Standard Shipping on items in the ad. Unfortunatley the Samsung Galaxy S3 says "in club only"
-
Can you take a picture of it on your phone?

CVS managers had the list of stuff like 2 months ago, I'm surprised that the list didn't leak out much sooner than it did. A CVS manager told me that he was ordering extra items for Black Friday, but I didn't have the guts to ask him what was on the list. It was a full month later before I saw any rumored list of items on any websites.

It's a coupon that you can use the next time you shop there, that expires 2 weeks from the date it was issued. So for instance, if you get a $6 RR, it's a $6 off coupon that you can use. Of course there are "rules" to using RR's: -You can't use them to purchase alcohol, tobacco, gift cards, dairy products and a few other things. -If you use a $2 Goody RR (for example) to buy another Goody hair clip, another RR will not print out for that item. But you can use your Goody RR to buy the $2.99 Herbal Essences shampoo and you will get your $3 RR for the shampoo; but you cannot use it to purchase the Got2Be Hair Stylers because they only cost $1.99 and your RR is for $2. -RR's are manufacturers coupons and Walgreens only allows you to use 1 Walgreens and 1 manufacturers coupon per item. So if you were only buying the Epsom Salts, you could not use the $1 off coupon and the $4 RR from the Sheets Energy strips to pay for it (because you would be using 2 manufacturers coupons). You could however purchase a $.50 item with the Epsom salts, and you would be purchasing 2 items so then you could use 2 coupons. Hope this helps!

Rockfordmom replied to audrey06's topic in 2012
I think there is only a certain amount of time you can go back and get credit if the price drops, I'm not sure how long that is. -
I saw an ad that the "Sounds of the Season" channel on my cable TV would be starting on November 2.

Hey guys.. what would you like in your stocking? Need help.
Rockfordmom replied to ChristmasShopping's topic in 2012
A nice pair of gloves fills up stockings, or some new socks. Add toiletries (deodorant & cologne) and candies to fill them up. Radio Shack sells cheap, cool little toys that are perfect for mens stockings.
