as long as there is money i am ready to shop shop shop.. even better with out the kids and a good sale .. i shop all year long for b day and x mas and what ever else i can always pull a present out of some where for a teacher friend,b day party and so forth

i have probaly already spent that much or more and that does count stuff i have in laya way. but i still have stockings and all grandparants ect to buy for still

my hubby is a funny guy i guess,he will not use capstick, he said does not like way it feels on his lips, lol but lottery tickets that is good idea my dad gives all us kids 10.00 worth every year then we scracth to see who won the most.usally my little brother who will just be 16 this year has no expense dad still pays for everything.. i will just have to walk around stores i guess till things jump in the cart.. thanks

:gd_stars: i am lost on what ot put in my hubbies stocking this year.. i got him socks ,hunting gloves, and going to get his favorite candy just like the kids,, he is a big kid,,,i got him putter games and stuff he wanted for his presents but lost when comes to stocking i thought about cologne but he likes the real costly stuff little bottle $30:eyepoppin so i am asking for ideas,, he is 29 years old he is more of a tee shirt and jeans person not dress up even thou he could us some new dress cloths but will not fit in stocking lol thanks jennifer

not sure what i saved but got three carts full for like 1000.00 with tax... carts were full top to bottom... yes there were some big items.. sewing machine,roaster,toy box,laugh and learn chair, talking tool bench,two dish sets but we ended up with like 50 items for the 1000.00 so i was happy and i am going to try a pm one item this week i found it cheaper this week and toys r us

we alway wait till like the week after more good deals if anything left alot of time we get stuff 90% off of what is left.. if there is something really wanting i got after x mas if not i wait till week after and see what is left and that is what i buy got some very pretty candles,lot of light refills and tinsel and other stuff last year very cheap

my mother got boys the moon shoes a toys r us.. walmart wsa to have them never saw them but she said toys r us has hole end cap of them but she lives in tinely park il

are is done buy a differnt company and they had very little for a dollar or less.. they had these little foot ball i have seen at dollar store they were 5.45 and little highlighters that are about the size of lenght of like floss or smaller for 1.00 but nothing really worth the money little places i have seem at dollar stote for 12.** i got 7 things and it was 32** very over priced but since told kids they could let them each pick out 2 things and the one that did the most work got 3 . but was not letting them each buy for all 15 people on there list.. they really did not have much to chose from either.. maybe because my kids go to very small poor school..

kids are done except stocking stuff.. moslty candy i have the small toys already.. everything on lay a way.. we just have to do the kids shopping to grandoparnets and sib.. but that is it.. yeah

finish are the same weekend we started sarted on bf finished sat .. yeah and even have some presents wrapped and under tree

yes we are having x mas with my mother.... fun fun i know but that is when it worked for her to make trip down here since this year is her turn to come here, next year we go there but a usally home for new years and just have friends over

moslty snowmen . i have few other odds and ends but all the new stuff seems to be snowmen

yes we do and i let them earn money to go to the santa shop but man they are way over charging so the each got couple things but then i am talking them to one of the dollar store. i let them buy for there teachers, grandparents,siblings.. great grandparents and so forth about 15 people a piece .. they learn it is just as easy to give as is to get.. we also get a kid a peice from them given tree at walmart it has foster kids on it and they get to shop for one kid a peice

my mother had a all white tree is was pretty.. but she passed it to me and we have changed it not sure if because the stuff started just falling apart dry root i guess ,, but kids are all small so it is a mix of moslty there name oranment my mom buys them one every year and then a family one.. so we have moslty those and stuff kids have made at school. i want a theme vicitorn tree but hubby said no maybe when kids get bigger or are gone,, because it would cost alot to start over... we got ride of big tree mom gave us gave to lady with 4 kids and no tree and bought a a little 6.5 pre lit for 20.00. because the other took up whole living room

i put on lay a way the cool talking tool bench at walmart i founf it there for 32.97 nad it was 41.99 at kmart so thought was getting good deal well at toys r us right know it is 24.99 till sat will wal mart pm it..

x mas eve we got to me dad's he never does a real meal does munchies.. he does not like ot do the whole meal thing,, last year he made manicotti.. we go to my grandmas couple weeks before and have a meal.. she does ham,, and same old stuff can even remeber,, lol we are making a ham or getting a honey baked if mom and hubby have there way...but man they cost alot.. more than the rest of the meal... :razz: so i was looking for something differnt than same old green beans,corn,mash tatos,rolls,cranberried,and stuffing two weekends in a row... do one one weekend and another the other weekend... :splat: just seems boring doing same thing two weekends in row last year we did not do x mas here we did not have it at all mom was to sick for us to come and we did a new years party with friends i just did munchies i got home late from work most people were drunk before i even got home to make anything.. thanks for the good ideas hopefully more to come ..

we are having small dinner x mas day me hubby and are 4 small kids.. but mom is comming in new years weekend and will be having big meal have not thought of what to cook have not made holiday meal in many years :hungry: jennifer

was told are is closing also.. and that they have all stuff at after x mas prices i just have not had the time or money to go there with bf spent all my money for right know

i am glad i am not the only one spending trhat much.. i guess i was just raised differnt than my husband his dad had great job and they got alot for x mas.. i was raised very differnt my dad did spend alot i guess but he is kind of person that buys are love still to this day.. my mom on other hand is very frugel and tells me i spend way to much on my kids for b days and x mas,, she only spend like 25 on them and like 35 on me... it has always been that way she has spent very little on use the whole time we grew up.. so i have her telling me you are spending way to much on those kids they do not apperatie what you spend and you end up throw most of it away because it gets broke or what ever... my kids do have alot of toys but there is 4 of them... on there b days i usally spend about 150 of them and she about dies..

i did post on both boards to get more answers not sure how many people would go to this thread compared to the black fri... but i have found that i am not the onlth one spending alot on the kids

i have 4 kids twins 8 a 6 year old and a 2 year old.. and i am having trouble making a choice on how much to spend... as of right know i shop all year long so i always have lots of stuff put away.. i went yest bf and put lots on lay a way ,. but having trouble deciding what to give them and what not to give them.. right know they have about 200.00 a peice for to older about 150 for 6 year old and about 130 for 2 year old... but almost works out to the same amount of gifts little guy will be short couple or many depends on how i wrap the ps2 game,, the older ones have 6 a peice of those put away and but if i wrap 3 toghter then 3 big guys will have like 14 present and little guy 11 ask hubby he said just give them everything and start over for never year.. but i think that 200-250 a kid is little much plus stockings.. but we do not buy kids stuff all year x mas and b day is about the only time they really get any kind of new stuff in less they need it.. i only buy them cloths on clearnce and put them away for next season.. so shoes sock, undies and stuff for school is about all they get all year.. what do you think???
