thanks you guys are great so many ideas .. i have to figure out what ones i think 2nd grade kids would like and how many things to keep them busy. don't want to little or to much i thought about printing some of those fun sheets for them to take home also .. thanks so much for all the ideas

i was thinking like 2 or 3 crafts and couple game so we could have like staions .. group of kids travel from one to other so they are not all doing the same thing at once.. to keep it a little more under control.. and yes everything has to be store bought nothing home made.. they have changed rules so much from when i was a kid my mother used to make things for school but we can not do that anymore

i just got home form teacher confernce,,, and she asked me to do x mas party this year i have three kids in that school so i can only do one party per hoilday.. this will be the first.... i need some help school will only give $20.00 each parent sends in a dollar. or is supose to... there is 22 kids so i need help plannign this party it is for 2nd grade... there is only about 5 parents that said they would send in stuff.. so looks like most of it will come out of my pocket.. paty is to last about 1 hour to 1.5 so i need to come up with things that will keep 22 kids busy that long and not break the bank at same time thanks for all the idea a head of time ... jennifer

well as of right know i have asked a 14year old to come over and no reponse yet.. i know here mother is going so nothign else i will send her with list also to help hubby . but my mother and sis in law have added stuff to the list//

target,k mart and toy r us, and k b toys .. i will only get ot go to walmart thow but hoping there is stuff i can pm

mt list is way to long to type wal mart is the only store i usally go to . laya way is great hiding, and we only have enough time and energy to do one

people who never pick up a paper buy one on thanksgiven to see the ads we can harldy never find one .. but i always have my list anyway from sites that post,, lol just like to look at the other stores and see if the list i got online were right or not... i get paper del to me know because i hate going to get one and there be none and normal days there is 15 left

my hubby goes i stay home but this year i am working on getting my friend to let one of her kids come over here thanksgiven night and be here with the kids i think the list is to long this year for hubby to do himself... only one him and lots of crazy women out there...

i see was wondering man there is so many thing i don't know what to get i guess since there is like 6 differnt tv's i only need one i guessi will have many ot chose from.. if one od gone we will move down listtill we get one as long as not dora... don't think the boy's will like that . my hubby is going to die when he see the list since he is probaly going buy himslef still working on baby sitter thing..

it is not in the scanned ad... so is it true those items are in the bf 6-11sale or what.. or it is in the all day sale.. i looked in the scan ad and none of those items are in there...

last year at my walamrt game boys had to be paid for with cash in elctroincs dept would not let you take them out into the rest of the store to put them on lay a way.. we put everything on lay a way so first we have more time to pay for it and second to hide it from the 4 kids

i have found so much i am not sure if we get it all where i will hide it till x mas.. i hope we get everything on are list..lol might be hard with one person trying to get all of it.. but my hubby sur4e can try.. i don't go i send him with a list... i stay home in bed with kids

i love ebay it is my best friend i have gotten some crap before and also had seller take money and not send product,, but mostly i have had great luck kids get alot x mas and b day from ebay./

yeah but the add does not come in that early i guess are stores also don't have big stock rooms so they don't get stuff in till right before they need it .. cannot hold x mas stuff for three weeks since they get trucks almost every night becauase there stock rooms are so small. they have trailers out side for lay a ways to hold all holiday stuff peole hold there till x mas i know iget mine out last min so i don't have tohide it around here

i have bought everyone of those cheap thing can openers ,choppers, and have never had a problem my can opener is the bigger one that was couple years ago like 2000

my sis works at walmart and she never see the ad early.. my hubby worked there also and never got to see anything early.. i hope your walmarts are better than the one around here... lol i am dying ot find out what is on sale so i can see how much still need to buy for the kids ect. but it will kill me even more i think to wait after i find out what is on sale ot see if we can get that item and so on because if not more i have to buy at full price

my hubby is the one that goes because i can not find anything to with the kids one year my mother had the kids we went toghter and hubby had a game plan and said ok you go this way i am going and getting this this and this and we will meet here he is faster than i am he is tall and skinny so he gets right in and does what needs to be done. that year we went to couple of stores.. last year he went buy himself and called me couple of times but he pretty much got everythign on the list from the one store some waqs wrong but oh well close enough.. this year i think he is going again buy himself in less i can find someone to wacth kids

ok three weeks man that seems like for ever lol but it is only oct 8th what i am in such a hurry for.. i know the fact i have four boy's lol and of course they want everything

when i worked at jc penny's no one could get off everyone worked,, but we had to get there at like 5-5.30 so we would get what we wanted and put it in the stockroom. and after we got off we could get a price over ride to the sale price.. so we would at least get what we wanted from that store..

we bought alot last year.. we still have most of it.. the travel dvd player was junk it broke or stop working right this summer. and the flat screen tv. i guess it was good but my son nocked it over in the basement and know it no longer works.. but really can not say it was tv fault he did nock it on a concrete floor off a tv stand.. but other than that everythign still works and we have it...

also does anywhere let you do layaway i know walmart does ,but not sure if anywhere else does

i was just wondering when people start posting what is going to be on sale.. I have started shopping already and wanted to make list of what i am going ot try and get bf.. so i know how much i still need to buy i know they are not out yet but i do they get post way before thanks givin.. thanks ;)
