  1. WOW! Not too many people would have done that. That gave me tears...pretty sappy of me huh?
  2. I had to go to town tonight and when I came back he was looking at airline tickets online. The date was for BF!!!!! I told him he couldn't go anywhere that day and he said, "Why not?" Duh!! BF!! I guess I have to keep reminding him every day so he won't forget and make plans. He knows I like to go shopping that day. ARGGGGG!
  3. Now what on earth could be more important that shopping?? hehe
  4. WOOHOO!! Been waiting for this one and can't wait to see more of it. Anybody know when they open T-day?
  5. http://calciuminfo.com/promotions/Sample.aspx?sid=%7b1CF60936-CB28-42e3-BF5B-9B3681408282%7d
  6. I think it might have something to do with K-mart buying sears or vice versa...not sure which it was but I'm sure somebody will correct me if I'm wrong.
  7. I don't live in Utah and don't have a Sears Grand but thought I would pass this along. Not sure if the prices are scanning wrong or just on clearance but it would be worth a look. ****************************** I don't know if it's all Sears Grand stores or not,BUT.... The one at Jordan Landing on aprox. 7800 South & Bangerter Road in West Jordan, Utah has various hair colors for 42¢ - $1.29 each!!! The generic pain relevers & Ibuprofins are .45¢ each for the 50 - 100ct.!!! They had LOTS more goodies by the front of the registers next to the Halloween clearance. The prices are not marked at that, but that's what they're scanning at - 90% off!!! They have MANY other items scanning wrong too. Definately worth a look at your local Sears grand :)
  8. I'll have to mark it off my list then. I don't play computer games and I definitely don't want to share my pc. lol
  9. Cool beans! Any good deals? I didn't really browse the site since I'm broke righ now.
  10. Not sure if this is true...just passing the info along. 25% discount on the Hasbro website with free shipping. Code for the 25% off is HASBRO25.
  11. Carmex, little lotions, bubble bath, some of those bendable toys like you see at Easter (Do they make them for Christmas?), card games, small etch-a-sketch or magna doodle, flash cards...that's all I can think of right now.
  12. Definitely the living room. No other place to put it.
  13. We use to always go to my Grandma's house. We have a LARGE extended family on my mom's side and the living room would be knee deep in wrapping paper and gifts. Sadly, she passed away several years ago so it's just not the same. My tradition for Christmas eve is wrap, wrap, wrap, and make stockings.
  14. I remember getting those as a kid also. My parents would put all kinds of toys, ponytail holders, barettes, fruit, and nuts in our also. My mom made the best stockings!! They were almost better than the gifts.
  15. The best gift I got was when hubby took a snap shot of my mom and a letter she wrote to me almost 20 years ago and framed them. It was extra special because she passed away in 1992.
  16. My mom's side of the family always draws names and sets the price range around $20. That way you only have to buy as many gifts as you have people in your immediate family.
  17. I have and don't see anything wrong with it. Why let something rot in your closet or get thrown away when somebody else might get some use out of it?
  18. What are lettery tickets?
  19. No particular colors here. We use ornaments we have collect, ones the kids have made, and those passed down from my grandma. Awwwww.....
  20. Are you kidding? I don't wanna sound like everybody else's phones going off. I like to do the Christmas one in summertime.
  21. Nope...it's just all crammed down in the stocking!
  22. Of course I show him my goodies!! I show him but he never seems to be as excited as me about my finds.
