  1. actually the big bf one i got was on sale on the site for 150 w/ an $80 rebate, awesome for a samsung for basic recording all you need is the machine & blank discs, just like when you burn cd's...the dvds used to be very expensive but have come down a lot in price lately so you should be able to get a good deal...if it's stuff to record & keep (like forever) you can record once on -r's or +r's (ive never understood the diff myself) but if you want to record, watch, & record over that's what rw's are for
  2. unfortunately, yes...i missed a week of quality shopping time bc i was sick
  3. ^ i think she means $16.38 lol
  4. i think that wins as funniest for me most classic: folgers sweetest: hallmark from a year or 2 ago where the woman buys the little singing snowman or whatever for the older man living across the street & watches him find it & smile reminds me most of childhood: fruity pebbles "Ho ho ho I'm hu-hu-hungry!" ... "Tis the season to be sharing, Fred"
  5. yeah it was a tasters choice thing bc the guy was anthony stewart head who went on to be one of the stars of buffy the vampire slayer (yeah, im a crazy fan) - there may be info about the commercials on a fan site for him
  6. there was an ambulance & police car at target today, older lady sitting on a stretcher...dont get too carried away by those deals people! lol
  7. fyi, with the games in the ad that say 2/$30, you dont necessarily have to buy 2...i got call of duty 1 for ps2, reg $19.99, for $15, plus i had a $5 off coupon, so i got it for the price it was on bf when it was sold out everywhere!
  8. i post every morning around 4am whatever the daily things are, over on the online deals board
  9. oo just saw 50% off all craig mp3 players @ toys r us this week, not the greatest things but decent enough

  14. yeah you can get upgrades, or get what just is talking about, both are pretty easy & much less expensive than they once were...this is def a good price considering the lack of rebates!
  15. oo i just found out i may be able to resell some of the things in my bundle to friends at a better price than they'd get in the stores but still a profit for me! bonus!
  16. so-so...for basic use, like work & school stuff (not hardcore gaming or multimedia) 512mb ram is ideal, & an 80gb hard drive, so i'd say no, but if you hate rebates this would be good
  17. woo hoo, i happen to be going there tomorrow anyway!
  18. 95% of the time amazon's stuff ships well before they say it will with all the ppl ordering this time of year im surprised they still have free 'get it by christmas' shipping - i guess next year just try to order earlier

  20. my cousin would love to get penthouse, but how would he explain that to his father? lol
  21. awesome, i got the denim bundle - thanks!
  22. what's hecht's?
  23. i have a kmart w/i walking distance of my house, while the closest walmart & target are 20 mins away, but i never, ever go to kmart - it's always filthy, the prices are never very good, lots of cheap-looking store brand stuff, etc...in fact i think i've only been there once in the past 4 months (for luggage tags bc they have the american tourister accessory line) & even that was barely tolerable
  24. forget sales, go to old navy any time & dig thru the clearance racks - ive gotten lucky with shirts for $1.99 & pants for $3.99 - not that there's always such good stuff, but you should be able to find some kinda jeans for $10 or $15
  25. there were 2 cheap ones as part of toys r us's 12 deals of christmas this past week but both are over now, too bad u missed them...nothing in best buy's circular for next week for that cheap, sorry...maybe wait for this supposed big sale that walmart may or may not be having? (see posts on the holiday board)
