  1. Yeah, it would be nice if they came up with another temporary filler line, like the Global Bazaar line between Chr-stmas and Lawn and Garden.
  2. Ack! I hate how Target is messing with our schedule. I had planned to be there when the doors opened tomorrow. Now, who knows what's left at the Gator Town Target.
  3. It's cheap, and it's one of the best pizzas locally, IMO.
  4. We have a chain here in Gator Town called Five Star Pizza. Their extra large is 18", and they are offering delivery of a 1 topping extra large for $8.99. IMO, it is a way better tasting pizza than Dominoes, so I take advantage of that fairly frequently.
  5. WTG scrabbler! Enjoy the chair! Ooo, is this the one you got? Thomas O'Brien chair
  6. It looks like the summer line will go 75% off soon. And remember, Target usually does a Toy clearance sometime in July as well.
  7. Wow! I wonder if it will stay at 50% of for three days, and then go 75% off on Sunday.
  8. Oh, excellent abut the summer seasonal stuff. RedStateGirl predicted they would be 75% off around July 4th, and it looks like we may be on schedule, or even a little ahead of schedule, for that to happen. Although, you're store may be one of the test stores on the newer, quicker seasonal mark down schedule. I'll have to find the time to get over to target to see if the summer line has gone 30% off here as well.
  9. Has anyone come across any deals the past few days? I haven't bene able to get to Target myself in the last week.
  10. Slightly OT... Tonight's Dinner Tonight I'm experimenting. Several months ago, Target had some Italian foods (pastas, sauces, oils, and vinegars, etc.) as part of their seasonal Global Bazaar display. I cleaned up on them when they went 90% off. I got several jars of the tomato sauces in multiple flavors, but I knew I would be the only one to eat the arrabiata sauce and have been awaitng my chance. Well, tonight is it. Beorn is away visitng relatives until Thursday, and Paul is working until midnight. So, I bought a package of frozen seafood mix (calamari, octopus, mussles, clams, etc.) for $3.99/lb and mixed it with two jars of the arrabiata sauce that I got for 29 cents. I cooked up a pound of spaghtii that I got for 17 cents, and I am simply in heaven. Yum...
  11. RedStateGirl, So following the current timeline we've been watching, the black dot One Spot merchandise should go clearance mid-July, yes?
  12. Welcome, Tiff! ITA with RedStateGirl, it is Target corporate policy to return the price paid for the item purchased within 90 days with a receipt or with receipt look up if you purchased it with a check, credit or debit card that they can trace. If there is no receipt, or if it is after 90 days, then you will only get back what the item is currently selling for, or the last known price, if the item is no longer offered. I suggest you call or email Target corporate and inform them what happenes at your store/ If you ever get invited to do one of those web surveys that are promoted on a Target receipt, it would also be a great opportunity to complain about that at the end of the survey. For instance, I complained on one of the surveys about receiving a gift purchased at Target within the previous 90 days which I decided to return with the gift receipt as I already had the item. Even with the gift receipt, I was offered current value for the item, both as return or as an exchange. The item happened to be on sale that week, and was less than what I know my friend paid for it. I complained via my next survey, and I understand return policy with gift receipts has been changed since then.
  13. LOL, RedStateGirl! I just asked if anyone had gone yet.
  14. Has anyone been to check out The One Spot yet today?
  15. I went by my Target today, and the One Spot was 50% off. The signage said 'prices effective 05/21 - 05/24,' so I won't be surprised if the One Spot goes 75% off on Thursday.
  16. Rumor has it on the AOL board that the green dot items in The One Spot will be 50% off today...
  17. ::: patting self on back ::: Does anyone know if you get GottaPoints for views? Welcome to the GottaDeal forums, msharpsteen!
  18. That's the beauty of the acronyms though, it can change with the situation. Sometimes that first D can stand for $^&%&$@$!!... There's a post somewhere on the forum that lists quite a few acronyms. Ah...here it is: http://forums.gottadeal.com/showthread.php?t=27153&highlight=abbreviations
  19. I remember it changed about two/three months after I joined. It went from being accessible to being listed as a semi-private forum for which I had to request access. But a PM to Brad got me in right away.
  20. You can also make your own out of melamine foam, an insulation sheeting. I think it's available at places like Lowes and Home Depot.
  21. Not anymore. You can access it at AOL Store Deals and Clearances. However, to post you need to create an account (for free) on aim.com. It used to be strictly Target related, but AOL got antsy about using a corporate name. So now it's basicially like this forum, devoted to all b&m deals and freebies. But Target posts still pretty much dominate the board.
  22. :::sigh::: It's been my experience that unless a team member is on the mark down team, that 99% of the time most employees don't know what's on clearance either. The only time they appear to know, is the day the seasonal items go 90% off, and then you'll see several paying for cartloadsful before customers are allowed inside the store at opening. Nice employee perk.
