That sounds really good, and nicely explained. However, I still like Alton Brown's Good Eats Roast Turkey the best, especially for novice cooks. I no longer do a wet brine before hand, though. I now dry brine first.

Total guess here. wes hal sounds like wassail, which I believe was a warm spiced beverage served to wassailers, or carolers (as in "Here I come a wassailing"). So, my guess is caroling?

Since googling isn't allowed, I'll skip number three, but I believe number one is "What are you doing New Year's Eve," or something like that.

I have not had the need to personally do it yet, but I have seen blog posts which say you can. Pull up the webpage on a smartphone or tablet at guest services. They will supposedly match it, and then present the cartwheel. -

Of the presents I gave, three items went over really well here: http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/NDgwWDY0Mg==/$%28KGrHqFHJB0E63%28J%28c7uBO%29qlnh,VQ~~60_35.JPG A buffalo-themed tie-dye tee shirt for George. Everyone here other than George has tie-dye, and George's totem is the buffalo. http://img.banggood.com/images/upload/2012/chenjianwei/SKU078173.32.jpg A quadcopter drone as a Hanukkah present both here and for Beorn back in Florida. http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51Y9lf6EtLL._SY355_.jpg Olaf with throw for Brenda, who loves snowmen. Of the gifts I received, I think my favorite is the new jeweley box Brenda gave me. I've never been much of a jewelry wearer, and have started getting some necklaces and earrings to wear to work. But I was keeping them in the boxes they came in inside a drawer, and the boxes were getting beat up. Brenda found a lovely paisly designed jewelry box. It's perfect! http://media.kohls.com.edgesuite.net/is/image/kohls/1886765_ALT?wid=250&hei=250&op_sharpen=1

This is the one that started my appreciation for holiday commercials. I'm not certain, but I think it first aired in the '8s. There have been several others since then I love, especially the Thanksgiving Pilgrims and L'ilgrims ones. But I think this one is the pinnacle for me.

This is not tried and true on my part, as I just discovered it yesterday. But it sounds so amazing it is definitely coming up at some point this weekend for breakfast. http://www.seriouseats.com/images/2014/11/20141116-turkey-croque-madame-thanksgiving-06.jpg The Stuffing Waffle Croque Madam Sandwich I can just imagine it is to die for!

After brining my turkey using Emeril's brine, I deep fried turkeys for years, ever since I scored my turkey frying rig at Walmart the first year I was on the forum. Then I gave Alton Brown's Good Eats Roast Turkey a try, although I stuck with Emeril's brine, instead of using AB's. Did that for several years, until I discovered dry brining. Now, I still use AB's recipe for roasting, but I dry brine for 3.5 days first. The other sure thing I'll make is my Slow Cooker Holiday Stuffing. The rest is yet to be decided.

*sigh* Toys went today in Redmond, WA. I didn't check until 4:00, as I had no idea the store here would go on Wednesday. I was looking to get the two different Walking Dead board games for a friend's 21 year old son. Totally wiped clean by the time I arrived. *sigh* -
Thanks!
