Looking for cordless expandable telephone
Stowasser replied to sewwise's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
Umm, I love our Uniden. We haven't had any problems and had it for year to year and half. Its the 5.8 ghz, expandable with one main handset and 3 additional ones. I love the ability to be able to transfer calls between handsets that is so cool. I find the clarity fine with one handset in my husbands garage (not connected to house) and it works fine out there. -
This is good online and on some of the special edition packages, it discounts it without having to buy extra stuff like the guitar hero ds (DS with quitar hero and special pick) for $134.99 orginally $179. It might also work on the Pokeman one too

my mom bought this....I am not impressed at all with it. First it took like 2 months before it shipped and she actually cancelled it and it shows up the next day?? I used it on our small dog and I couldn't get it to do much, now our dog has long nails (yes i know that is bad) but it wasn't really grinding it down much. I also found the holes kinda of funny, maybe ours was done wrong but the smaller the hole, the less of the grinding wheel we got so the nail falls off to the side? I worked on him for over an hour and finally gave up and clipped him with clippers. I think if your dog has really short nails already, it might work abit better but buying a dremel will give you the same results.

does anybody buy their pool chemicles online?
Stowasser replied to my2kidsmom's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
I probably should of said that differently LOL, you need a test kit, it should read the chlorine, PH and there is another one that most can read but I never use it LOL. The test strips do a pretty good job too (they usually cost alittle more than the ones where you add drops to little vials). The kids have fun doing the test, we have the drops one for the pool and you fill up the vials, put 5 drops in and compare it to the chart on the vials. I use the white card included as a background to make sure I get the color matching right. We use test strips for the hot tub. -

You might look into some of the sites mentioned earlier this summer in discussion area as to using Bleach, Borax and baking soda as your main chemicals for a pool. We have an above ground 18' pool and I was having trouble about mid summer with the chemicals really not working so I tried Bleach (6% sodium Chloride) instead of Chlorine and it turned my pool water around, it was sparkly, in the right range when tested and was alot cheaper than pool chemicals. Borax and Baking soda raises the PH which helps the chlorine (which is what bleach is primarily made of sodium chloride) maintain balance in the pool. High PH you use muratic acid (paint supplies) to lower it. In essence, when I start my pool up next year, I am not messing with all the different pool chemicals, I am using Bleach and if needed the other products (our PH was high and after adding the bleach a few times, didn't need to lower it, it fell in the acceptable range). Get a good test kit. -

Yes, this is what I thought too. In fact, most companies are like that except some of the footwear companies (that I have noticed) -

were these marked with a clearance sticker? -
My 13 yr old is that size and there is alot at JcPenneys in the Jr dept that are great. I hit the clearances and get fantastic jeans for around $7. My daughter also has a 32" inseam which is harder to fit too and they always work for her, long arms too! The fashion bug stuff seems to work well for that size.
