I taught my daughter how to do %'s by this method and how to quickly figure out the sale price. What was funny, one day we were in and I was explaining this to my daughter and there was like 5 ladies eavesdropping in on the conversation. They were like "wow" I knew it had to be easier than trying to figure it out in our heads LOL I have mentioned it to many people and they are appreciative of the advice (its amazing this isn't more common knowledge, I think our math skills are substandard LOL)

don't forget to check Craigslist, I saw recently someone selling all the table decorations, chair decorations, candles and a bunch of other stuff (ribbon, tulle etc) for couple hundred dollars.

I am glad that they are looking into it. I hope they work it out, I think the mgr should of just "warned" you and that banning anyone from a store is a very drastic step and really should be thought out on their part. As you, I have never hid anything but there is always a chance that someone will find the stash, are they going to ban everyone that may come upon misplaced items? I mean as I stated, I would find it weird to look inside something I was thinking of buying and there was stuff there (of course, I know what its there for being a part of GD)but I would find it embarrassing and harsh that a mgr came up to me and accused me of whatever they want to call it. I don't know about deals but I bought on Linens and Things-a homedic one (fushion sound) that is fun, its a clock radio with nature sounds and a Ipod dock (fun front panels that you can put on to match your Ipod) for $27 ish

Yes, they have every right to tell you to leave and not come back, though they need to really think that one through. Now if they remember you is another thing, in my store, they would since I am in there alot and they recognize me. I don't hid things, its abit sneaky though probably not illegal since you are not taking the items out of the store just misplacing them. I have never found a stash here but we are still pretty remote in the shopping world. I think I would feel weird to find something in a trash can/or similar. LOL BTW, I have always been afraid of getting "caught".

LOL well, we need to put them into concrete! We had a devil of a time keeping them upright with all the wind we got this holiday. I am going to take your advice and find some nice urns and put them in permanently and just store them upright each year. We are actually rethinking alot of the decorations outside since we had huge gust of winds that just decimated the decorations this year. We have alot of repairs to do this summer LOL

I wonder about 90%.... Last yr I have marked ours went 75% on the 31st and went 90% on the 6th, this year ours went 75% on the 29th so if they follow with the same span that would be what the 4th? Just wondering what schedule they will go by.

This is our second yr with the trees in the urns and it was bad this year, they are always falling over even after put rocks in the base and now the plastic rim has broken on all four of them we got. I will have to figure something to keep it upright, we got such bad winds this Christmas holiday this year.

LOL we don't have any more stores near here, we are in Montana and I think there are 3 or 4 in the whole state. Our towns are pretty spaced apart, nearest larger one is about an hour away from us. Oh, yes, had to go back today for Toilet paper, wink wink and they put out a few more items that weren't mixed in there yesterday. I got some more outdoor extension cords and red box stocking stuffers-manicure kits, LED stuff and found one emergency car kit. Thank you for the hint on the dishwasher electrasol items, found 5 boxes for $1.24. I wish there was holiday door mats this year, maybe they will appear in the 90% off pile LOL.

I collect Kelly dolls and our store never got them in, t hey had a spot for them but they never showed?

Ours went 75% off, shocked me! We went in to look at Legos after a eye appt and it was 75% off, there was alot left. Ton of bagged candy etc. I got about $100 worth of stuff, like boxes, giftbags, garland (the wind just decimated the decorations this year), some ornaments, candy and plates/glasses. They still had a ton of trees and outdoor decorations. I am actually proud of myself, I didn't get anymore outside stuff though if the snowman is there at 90%, I definitely will pick it up then. Since ours went early, last yr was on New Yrs Day, wonder when they will do 90%?

Oh does your store allow seasonal returns at receipt price? If so, your lucky. Ours returns seasonal items at the price it is that day (so if bought at 50% and return when items go 75%, we will only get the 75% price back)only.

Our Christmas stuff went 75% on New Years Day last year, I wonder if they will be doing the same schedule?

I picked up three today since I had to make a return, we had all colors and that was about noon or so. They are nice for throwing in the car or for pets when someone needs an extra little blanket.
