I went today and they have the Big Toy Book in the store. Better yet those sale prices are already in the computer. So you can get this weeks sale and next weeks sale prices today! They also had the coupons for buy $75 get $10 gift card. I saved over $70 today with those $% off $25 coupons! I will post whats on sale if anyone is interested.

Usually the Big book sale lasts through Thanksgiving week. It generally ends the Saturday before Turkey day. Then they have a sale valid through Wednesday. After that its the BF ad .

Usually the one in the Sunday paper has the cool stickers for the kids to put on their choices for Santa.

Thomas sets over $9 are 25% off at TRU this week. Not sure if the sale ends tomorrow or Saturday though. oops make that $49.

Doesn't hurt to ask. Nothing ventured nothing gained.

From what i read on the other site they claimed it was company wide so maybe they are having soemthing a little earlier too?

Turkey leftovers!

I just read on another site that TRU is having another special sale for military families. According to what i read it is going to be Nov 5 and 6.I know that several of the posters here are in the military or their spouses are so i thought i would pass on the info. Happy shopping!

I was in TRU tonight and they already have the Winnie the Pooh plushes that are going to be the promo this year. They also have signs up for the big book sale.

I am lucky compared to you guys. Hubby is Moslem and his family lives in Morocco. I almost never have to worry about Christmas gifts for them. There are 2 exceptions. His father was here one Christmas so i had to get some gifts for him ( i think he will also be here this Christmas and i bet he will need new warm clothes anyway so i would be spending the money regardless). Hubby's cousin lives with us so she always gets gifts. Both of my parents are deceased and i have only one sister who is unmarried and has no kids. I tend to go a little overboard for her since We are the only ones really buying her gifts and she gets really nice stuff for us since she has no other family to buy for.

I am prolly gonna give them some of the BOGO barbies i got this week.

I was in TRU tonight and they are starting their yearly Toys for Tots drive. You can donate $1 $5 or $10. They are also having an unwrapped toy drive Nov 4-6. We have been getting pretty good deals there ( at least I have) so I plan on giving something to the drive.

Too bad thats among the best sales they have for the season for kids your age. Generally they will have a sale on the Elmo of the season and I expect one for the Tigger of this season and the Blue's Room Doll too. Does your little one like any of those characters?

Did you get any of the Little Tykes stuff BOGO last week?

MY kids are now 5 and almost 4. I ahve been following the trends of sales at TRU for the past few years holiday seasons. I see no noticeable difference this year. Generally starting the last weekend of Sept or first weekend of Oct they start having decent sales on toys. This goes on up to and including the very last days before Christmas with at least one BOGO or B2GO per ad. They would still have a pretty good deal on BF. I still want to see TRU's ad before i say they wont have any good deals.

Saw it today at WM they had a lot of them. My kids are too young to ask for that.

I didnt know this but i am glad that you shared it. I will definately look at the sales that weekend. I always look at the TRU sales then casue sometimes they have great sales from October on.
