Got my engagement ring a few days before Christmas in 1995. I was really surprised since i didnt think my hubby had the funds to buy a ring.

I took the kids to TRU for the Halloween stuff today it was a little crowded but not too bad. Luckily was able to get out the door without them asking me to get anything for them!

Before i had kids we opened pretty much everything on Christmas eve. Now with the little ones my sister comes over on Christmas eve and they open all the stuff she gives them. We also open all the adult gifts. Christmas morning Santa comes.

I hope she doesn't have too bad of a day.

I wouldn't go for a nano. I read that a class action lawsuit was filed about really bad scratching on the face plate. I have heard that there are good deals on the mini if you can find a store with them. But then again i have a mini so i may be biased

There was a deal on a small MP3 player at TRU last week i think. I would look at the weekly ads for the stores and decide what you want to get and how much you wish to spend.

The ipod mini has just been replaced by the ipod nano so you may be able to get a good deal on one of those. I think it is a nice gift for a tween. you could get her a cheaper MP2 player if the ipod is too expensive.

What about electronics DVDs TVs ect?

I would say check the ad if there is something you want go for it!

I don't think they will have a separate Sunday ad. This is it for the next 3 weeks if my memory is correct. They have a short sale for the 4 days before Turkey day and then BF weekend. They may change it this year though... you never know.

They had them in store yesterday. They are supposed to be in the newspapers tomorrow.

What about some of the bogo hotwheels /matchbox that TRU has . That sale ends today though.

sometimes the online deal is better than the offline deal some times it is worse.

I have some Disney tones I D/L. I don't think there are any Christmas ones preloaded on my phone now ( new phone this summer). Hubby pays the cell phone bill and had a cow over the charges for the ring tone so i don't know if i am gonna D/L any Christmas ones. I would like to though.

I should start now the kids are sleeping and hubby went out to drive a cab.

I just got my Ds the vsmile pocket for his birthday and he loves it.

In laws are 6000 miles away. We go to my aunt's house for Christmas dinner. She has tons of grands and acts like Sammy and Layla are hers too so i am never uncomfortable there.

There are some OK sales in the toy book. The best deal of this promo is the free $10 GC with $75 purchase. The slae prices for next week are already in the computer and i was able to get the BOGO barbies at a better sale price.

Its a really nice doll house for little girls too young to play with Barbies. And it has Dora. She is very popular!

I would try and get some surplus Halloween candy next week so you will have some treats for them.

I would suggest the my first leappad for someone that young. I got the power touch and my kids rarely used it but leapster vsmile and pixter are favorites!
