Well hubby's car broke down yesterday and he took mine to work this AM so no transportation for me today and no target!

My son loves his Vsmile. He hasnt played with it much lately since he started school ( no time).

I have to work tommorrow night so i dont know if i will get to target tommorrow, though i would like to get to the one closer to me to and check what they still have available. The price was marked 75% off on the shelves but was not ringing that way at the register. When i went to customer service i got back almost $5 thasts nothing to sneeze at so i am glad that i did.

Amazon does NOT do free shipping on any TRU orders unless TRU.com is having a special promotion. Generally at that time of the year TRU has a promotion for free shipping on select toys over $50. They have that promo going on now and i am hopeful it continues through BF

I gave each of mine a TRU big toy book to circle what they wanted. Now every toy in the books are circled.

Well one of the targets in LI had the halloween stuff 75% off. It was ringing up 50% off a thte register and the cashiers were supposed to take the additional 50% off of that. Of couse mine didnt and when i mentioned it to her she only took off an additional 25%. Got it fixed at coustomer service. I was able to get one of those $30 lighted twig pumkins for $7.50

How large is your daughter? does she need to be in the adult size ones? could she fit in the child size goodnights? they are a pull up type diaper for kids who wet the bed. I think they go up to over 125 lbs. I don't think they are any cheaper but some stores have baby clubs ( at least my local stores do ) and these are included. So you would get a discount. Also they are included in my store whenever huggies are on sale. i think they are the same company.

What will the test targets be doing?

when i was a kid my mom would hide her stuff in my grandmothers basement. She would start early with the toys buying them a little at a time from the Sears wish book. I remember late one summer being in that basement with my father and seeing the corner of something barbie in a BIG BOX! When I went to get a better look at it my dad got me out of the basement quick! My sister was the master at finding all of my mothers hiding places. She would come to me and tell me what she had found. My dad had some closets in the basement that were filled with tools and drill bits screws nails you name it it was in there. She was all over those closets to the point my dad had to put a padlock on them. She was sneaky though she would wait until they forgot to lock it and then she was in it again!

There are som deals on thomas stuff in the TRU big toy book not a whole lot off but something. It is only on the larger sets.

What about legos? I had a set when i was her age.

There are houses here that have some nice displays but the best is going to the bronx zoo or jones beach. You have to pay to get in though.

For the younger kids ( Your DD and the 6 Y/O boy) Target has doodle bears and doodle monsters on sale this week for $10. Someone posted a link here for the target toy catalog that is coming out this week or next and it is supposed to have coupons in it. I would look at the sale ads for TRU Target and WM every week to see if there is anything at a good price that week. There is a $5 off $25 printable coupon from TRU that someone posted a few weeks ago you will find it if you seach the threads.

Someone had posted that on BF you would not be able to take your stuff out of layaway that the stores were not set up to handle that because of all of the extra volume that day.

I want TRU and Target. I got some good toy deals last year at Target. I really like that the current TRU sale is for over 3 weeks, that way i can weigh my options before buying. Research what is going to be on sale for BF and then decide to buy.

Whay i didnt add is that my cousin is a phenomenal cooka nd makes the best beef gravy you ever tasted. Then all the trimmings and desert yum!
