Okay - I didn't even think of it including that (our Target just opened in October). Guess I'll go back at lunch and look a little closer at those - they were over in the linens dept and I never even stepped foot in that dept. Update - went at lunch. I was able to find these items NOT in the Christmas section, but still rang up at 90% off ... 5-pack girl's socks (one in a Christmas tree shaped bag; one in a Snowman shaped bag) for $0.79/each; 12-pack green tealight candles $0.59; plain black "holiday" tights $0.39; and a table runner with velvet burn-out poinsettias for $1.49.

90% in Jonesboro, Arkansas today! I got there a little after 8 and there were more employees than customers back in the Christmas department! However, that said, I did get a few things: Christmas CD for $0.59; two Christmas shirts for my daughter $0.49/each; two bags of Christmas potpourri $0.99/each; JOY decoration for mantle or shelf for $1.49; and two more sets of 2-pc long underwear pjs for my daughter $3.98/each (non-Christmas, but 50% off). Happy shopping y'all!

Got mine yesterday and loved it! I think that I'm going to split it up (since there were so many) into small Valentine and Easter gifts also. -

YAY! Thanks OP - worked like a charm. I got a 4-pk hipster panties for $10.50 and after the $10 off code, I only paid $6.97. Not bad! -
Oh so close to 100%, but I put 76-99% because I'm waiting on ONE present to come in from BBW, so that will have to be shipped when/if it gets here!

Won't she be surprised on Christmas! Good job - glad you were able to find everything! Merry Christmas!

I didn't see the Christmas ones there, but my Big Lots had quite a few 2 and 3-pack figures for $2.99 each. I think that some of them even had one person/one animal or one person/one vehicle. They were very cute! I just put my daughter's Little People sets in her closet b/c she doesn't play with them anymore (she's 4) = that was so sad! Also, you could put a Baby Einstein movie, her favorite desert baby food, a Santa hat, pyjamas or onesies...

Thanks - expires 12/31/05

I don't think OP meant BOGO on body splashes - they've just been marked down to $5/each which is a pretty good deal. **Free shipping ends today 12/14/05** Also, if you select gift wrap options at checkout (on select items only), you can get FREE signature gift wrap in addition to the free shipping and deals: We'll custom wrap your gifts in our classic blue and white signature box with a navy ribbon and include a card with your personal message. -Select gift wrap services option during checkout -Enter your message in the gift tag area -All items in your order will be wrapped together -If your order has multiple shipping destinations, you can select gift wrap for each destination Sweet deal even with the free shipping, but now to find out that I don't have to wrap my stuff either??!! Just doin the happy dance!

I think that looks like a great idea! Just stock that baby full of stickers, stencils, colored pencils, crayons, markers, watercolors, coloring books, construction paper, hole punchers, etc Also, you could get her one of those magnetic chalkboards since it sounds like she loves to draw. That way she could either draw things on the chalkboard OR have her own display for her art. There's all kinds of cute magnets you could put with it (to either display or to start spelling words with) http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00005LBWC/ref%3Dnosim/mattgainescom-20/103-1938695-2400651 As far as toys go, my daughter loves anything Disney Princess, dress-up things, costume jewelry, My Little Pony, Care Bears, Cabbage Patch, and Barbies. There are alot of small things that you could either have as stocking stuffers or for smaller presents.

That's soooo sweet! Merry Christmas!!

Ours were at the front of the store in one of the cardboard display cases with a sign "$1.88 VHS movies" at the clothing entrance (ours is a Super Walmart)

Thanks! Got the Pretty in Pink value collection for my 4-yr DD's stocking. Awesome find! -
Same here - the only problem I had when ordering was that two of the items I needed were backordered (Smallville Season 3 and 4), but they got here in plenty of time. I have saved alot of money by using them.
-
I also have been able to get some of Cailyn's stocking stuffers from this site: http://toytreasurehouse.com/ This year, she got a roll of 100 Christmas stickers and the Santa notepad. I just got this in the mail Friday, and they also had added a free Scooby-Doo temp tattoo.

Same here! My daughter stayed with the in-laws and my husband was deer hunting most of the weekend, so that helped alot. I rearranged furniture and put up the inside decorations on Saturday. My husband and I put up the lights and outside decorations Sunday morning. After we picked up our daughter, we put up the tree and decorated her room on Sunday night.

We have made it our annual family "mini-vacation" to go the first weekend in December to Branson, MO and stay at Big Cedar Wilderness Club. They have such amazing seasonal things to do ... Christmas tree lighting complete with refreshments and a visit with Santa where he gives the child a stuffed black bear, wagon rides through the resort, Breakfast with Santa, Gingerbread making class, etc. Also, they deliver gingersnaps to your room every night. This year, we are having an elf tuck Cailyn into bed and read her a Christmas story. Although we won't make it this year, we also went to Silver Dollar City in 04 and watched their Christmas parade, Dickens Christmas Carol production, and took the train ride through their lighted displays. Just made me curious to see if anyone else went somewhere specifically to see Christmas events/displays.

Our daughter opens gifts from us on Christmas Eve. Santa leaves her presents in a large Santa sack with the larger toys under the tree. Her stocking, as well as ours, are filled and on the floor beside the Santa sack. She gets mostly games, books, and other toys from us. The larger stuff does come from Santa (at least this year), because it's what she put on her list (i.e. Leapster L-Max and games, tons of Barbies and the playsets, etc)
