I believe it has been posted in the papers or on the radio already. People in the outer towns are talking about it. I live about 35 mins. away from there. I will have to take a really long nap after coming back from my son's on Thanksgiving....like at 6pm until 11pm. My DIL is so excited about this...she has never been to a BF before.

I think I will make one and give it to my Nana,,,she will put it probably in here livingroom entrance as you have to go in through a door. Thanks for the post.

Hubby told me this tonight,,,he works near Portland. His co-workers were talking about it...so he tells me this while we were going back to the car from shopping at ON,,,btw they have a excellent sale going on right now. Of course, I was jumping with joy out in the parking lot when he told me...lol At ON tonight I got $140. worth of shoes, jeans, shirts, t-shirts, and couple hats for $23.

I get to start shopping on BF at 1 am! The Portland Mall in Maine is opening up for BF at 1am,,,I just got word of this today. My DIL is just as excited as I am. BB, CC, JC Penney's, Sears, Filene's, Macy's, Sports Authority, Disney Store, Discovery Store, and tons more all under one roof.........! Now I can make plans on which stores to go to at what time for what I want to get.

I send out about 50 or more depending on who else sends that wasn't on my list last year. If they send to me I always return one to them.

We have a Family Dollar next door to the Dollar Tree,,but I never get anything in the mail from FD. Wonder if you have to be on a mailing list.

I'm not sure on how they do their returns,,,but my children wouldn't want me to return it. Only one of my girls has one to use..the others would love to have one...I just might use my BB bucks to get one and use my own money to get the other stepson one.

I don't have a Blockbuster near me,,,the closest one is 30 mins. away. We do have the Movie Gallery and Hollywood Video.

I make my cards out just before Thanksgiving then send them out the first week of December.

I take my grandchildren out to get gifts for their mommy and daddy after the Chester Greenwood Day Parade (the town where I grew up he is known for inventing the earmuffs~also a distant relative), I take them out shopping for gifts and then take them out to eat at McDonald's.

When I was 8 years old I found out. I was laying awake in bed so excited about Christmas that I got out of bed to get a drink of water and saw my mother putting things in our Christmas stockings. I went back to bed quietly then cried myself to sleep. I think my mother must of saw me because the next day she gave me a sad look. I told my grandmother after what I had seen,,,she told me not to tell my younger sister and two brothers. I can still remember that day as if it was yesterday.

Hubby agreed to brave it for me on BF and he would go to Sears and try to get it for me. He is only going because he likes to browse as he calls it for Craftman tools. I am sure he will get something from there...lol

I have 3 WalMart's near me...and I have been getting the flyer since they came here in 1999. I just figured everyone got one in the mail ...didn't know they didn't send it to everyone who has a mailing address.

I just recently signed up for their program. I agree with you on it not being made for "Real" women. I have 2 teenage dtrs who love getting clothes from there. So, this should help some on saving money by shopping there.

I think it is a good idea also,,,you can choose to send them anonymously or to let know who sent them.

I have been saving my reward g/cards for about 5 years now using them for B-day presents and for Christmas. This year so far for Christmas I have $385 in g/cards to give out. That is why I love doing surveys and reward sites.

My family adopts a family. We have done this for the past 12 years. I also am involved in Operation Santa Claus, and with a group of people who give food to those who are in need so they can have a nice Christmas dinner.
