The kids Christmas shows...like Rudolph, Frosty, etc.? I like watching most of the old shows. Frosty is probably my favorite of all of them. I watch them without my teens,,,and if my grandchildren are here they watch it with me. Just a big 'ol kid here...lol

I can't say anyone of them are my favorite,,,I just like them all. I like hearing the jinglin of the bells and the ho, ho, ho's.

They should of said how many gift cards they were going to give out. Then at least you would know if you should take a chance or not on ordering.

I wouldn't do anything drastic until you have talked it over with him. All I can say is one person's $1,000 might not be much as it is to another person.

Turkey is in the Shaw's this week for .49/lb. I have no idea how much we spend on Thanksgiving..it's alot I know that much.

Go to your local Dollar Tree. I have found nice pre-school hardcover books for my grandchildren who are 3-5 years old.

My parents and my hubby's parents come to our house every year to open presents with us. And it works out great nobody's feelings are hurt that way...my husband is an only child. My parents stay here all day and my siblings come here for the evening time. We do have a family Christmas party but my parents and us only open presents from my siblings and their families. Why don't you have your mother go with you to your both of your divorced in-laws for Christmas?

I sent away for a gaming subscription for both of them but different ones. They both finally made out a list this past week...because I had them sit down and do it since they had 4 1/2 days off from school.

I have never heard of doing the stocking thing. I help my grandchildren write a letter to Santa with their wishes. Our post office has a mailbox so you can send to Santa.

Mine was a Barbie doll that I wanted so bad,,,I remember is so well. I begged my mother to get it for me and when Christmas morning came, I opened all my presents (no Barbie doll). Later on that evening we went to my Nana's house and the last present I opened and she was there! I remember being so bummed out all day until I opened that present. My mother wanted to make me wait I guess....cause she said "there ,,,didn't think you were going to get that doll did you?" I know it's corny!

I do most of the shopping for the household, but hubby goes out and buys each child one gift, gets my gifts and gets one for each of his parents besides the ones I get for them. I do the rest for family and friends outside of the household.

Game Boy Advance games Anything to do with Nascar Those are just some of the things,,they get so much because on my husband's side they are the only grandchildren and they get them almost all that they want.

I wouldn't say mine is a 'secret' stash..but I do saving during the year for Christmas, also I save the money and g/cs that I get for doing surveys and from reward sites I save to give as presents or to buy presents.

I am having Thanksgiving Dinner at the usual time 2pm like always,,,not going to change that for just myself. That is the day I spend with my husband, children, parents, and grandchildren. I will probably take a nap in the last afternoon to get some sleep if everyone is gone. Me and my DIL plan on leaving for the Maine Mall at around 9 or 10 pm because the BF where we are going starts at 1am!

That is where my gd lives now they just moved near the naval base this past week.

That is real cheap for a daycare for 4 hours! I don't have to worry about that...since I have 4 teenagers in the house...

What is the farthest you have sent a Christmas gift? I sent for 3 years my gd her gifts to Italy. This will be the first year that she has been in the states during the holidays.
