You don't have to invite them,,just wave or clap. Most of the people that we sang for opened the door and thanked us, some didn't open the door but came to the window to watch us...guess they must of heard us, then they waved to us. BTW, I found the music sheets for Christmas carols online and just printed them off for everyone.

What Do You Put In Your Child's Christmas Stocking? I put for my 2 teen girls: 2 lip gloss, 2 trail size of BBW body spray, $5. McD's g/c, $5. Burger King g/c, small candles, 1 movie ticket, trial size hand lotion (usually freebie), gloves,and small box of chocolates. In the 2 young teen boys: football trading cards, baseball trading cards, $5. McD's g/c, $5. Burger King g/c, 1 movie ticket, 2 lip balm, 1 pkg. cough drops, gloves, and small box of chocolates. And they each usually get one present that cost about $20 from Santa. RossMAN,,,or Brad or someone...lol Can you fix the heading of this? I spelt child wrong.

Having my family over on Christmas Day...that means my parents, his parents, my Nana, and my oldest son and his family, my nephew and his family over for the whole day. We end up having dessert later in the evening and my husband and my friends come over while everyone from my family is still here and we end up playing games that we have or new ones someone got for Christmas.

I have been to Christmas tree farms and the roadside to get my Christmas tree. I usually pay about $45 at the tree farm and roadside about $25-$35. But the last 5 years it has been to the tree farm,,,we go as a family to pick one out after the place we go ...they have a tent where you can go in and have hot chocolate, donuts, crackers, cheese and cookies. My children even though they are teens love going with us.

My nephew was a manager of the auto center until this past spring,,he has friends that still work there. He called me to remind me to go. And I told him that I wouldn't forget that!

Anyone Go Out Christmas Caroling Anymore? Or have you ever? I have an it is so much fun to do. About 5 years ago, my husband was on the Fire Dept. in the small town where we lived at the time. The women had a organization that helped out the fire department. Anyhow,,,none of them wanted to do anything that year for the children besides the FD Christmas party. So, I had my children take on the bus flyers to give out to the children and asked them if they wanted to join and meet 2 nights a week practicing Christmas carols to sing at the FD Christmas party. I had 18 children show up that first week. They were so good about showing up every time we met that we went our caroling around town. The FD guys made sure the children had munchies and soda during practice.

Really! I sent a copy of this to some of my friends and family...they all replied back to me with which one they liked the best of the 15.

I will be all shopped out by then...so I wil be going on Friday only. I will have Sat. all day to gloat over all my 'goodies' and probably wrapping them.

I went back to the site...and found it is also in the mall from 1 am on through out the day! The stores will be opened then.

If I had all my things that I wanted,,,I probably would help out. I have a soft spot for the elderly and can't refuse helping them.

It means family and to give to those who are in need. I plan things for my family to do...like going out Christmas caroling~we have our friends and anyone else who wants to come along and after we come back to my house for hot chocoloate w/mashmallows. I also have a Christmas Party each year for our friends.

I have 2 kinds of wrapping paper for the girls and 2 for the boys. If they are younger then they get like Blues Clue, Strawberry Shortcake, Pooh, Mickey Mouse,,,etc. Same with adults..2 different kinds for variety. My tree is color coordinated.

I just realized it will be here in less than 2 weeks. The countdown should begin. 12 days to BF... Anyone come up with a 12 days til BF song? lol

If you don't want to get g/c then you could get her ...Clothes from her favorite store, dvd player, cd's, purse (those are in for young girls and teens), or jewelry and accessories at Claire's or even a digital camera, I know they have a 4 pixel at WM for $98.

I didn't do that many envelopes, but I think I did pretty good with $80 something coming back to me. I have $21 from McDonald's foods and my sister says she has some hanging around her house that I can have since she does't plan on using them.

I can't sleep because I am still excited about hearing this tonight...don't know why hubby waited to tell me....8pm when he was home early today at 2pm. And I know it is going to be crazy,,,but that is going to be the fun part watching my DIL experience this for the first time. Good thing it is a long weekend...I have to start concentrating on studying for my mid-terms after BF.

And she should if you should do such a thing like that!

Now that I know where I am going to shop ,,,which is in one mall that has all the stores I wanted to go to ...all I have to do is get together with my DIL to figure out who is going where in the Maine Mall in Portland, ME then we are all set to go. But yes,,,,it is overwhelming just thinking about it.
