  1. Well, walmart changed their ad last year at the last minute. Don't get too worked up over it...yet. lol
  2. Obviously Target does it. I remember a post saying that Target employees were hoarding Elmos. I also remember standing in line like 10th person back with my mom at Target a few years ago so she could get some game system. By the time she got back there (and she's pretty fast) they were GONE! Most of the ppl in front of us (like me) headed straight for the toys. Something about Target and Kmart is just not right.
  3. Do all stores do this? I just talked to an acquaintance and gave her a heads up about gottadeal and the Walmart ad being up now. She said that she works at Target and that she is scheduled for BF morning and that employees are allowed to shop before the doors are open to the public. I'm wondering if all stores allow this. I know a lot of you have complained that Target (and Kmart especially) don't have enough early bird items stocked. This may be your reason.
  4. Wow, am I *ever* glad that I am not in the market for one of these things!
  5. I assumed he was referring to the new one in Travelers Rest. If you go, may God be with you. lol
  6. Only $5 price difference? Get her what she asked for.
  7. LOL! You think that, but I can pretty much guarantee that all the LOONEY-TUNES that normally frequent the White Horse location on BF are gonna be all over that TR Walmart! I wouldn't set foot on the property. Woodruff Rd. is a much safer way to go, IMO.
  8. *GASP* Wasn't gonna go out on BF? Why, shut yo' mouth, child! lol
  9. I just found out about this...and they are in my city TONIGHT!
  10. The "hanging" tree is from some 12th century thing they used to do. Read more here: http://www.hammacher.com/publish/72376.asp
  11. I feel sure that while it may be the same laptop, it will have SOME small difference so they won't have to honor the price adjustment. Even if it's some type of software or something thrown in, like a bundle.
  12. When in WalMArt I always need a buggie. A few years ago I got clogged up in traffic, but last year it was great. I was in and out of there in 15 minutes!
  13. #1 absolute fave: "Christmas Canon" - Trans-Siberian Orchestra Close seconds: "Better Days" - Goo Goo Dolls "O Holy Night" - Mariah Carey "Carol of The Bells" - Trans-Siberian Orchestra "Silent Night" - The Temptations "98 Degrees" - Little Drummer Boy And who can forget "Where Are You Christmas" by little Taylor Momsen? (Cindy Lou Who)
  14. I used to *try* to keep it between 6-10, but since I found gottadeal it has doubled!
  15. We always open gifts first and then eat a light breakfast before getting ready to head over to my Mom's for the big Christmas Dinner/family gift exchange in the afternoon.
  16. I won tickets to see it before it was released and it was really good! I'd pay to see it again. It's on my DVD purchase list. So many of the kid's movies are re-hashed crap and I thought this was fresh and new. BTW, I HATED the grommit movies. ~H~
  17. It won't matter because more likely than not, I will be inside the 24-hour WallyWorld.
  18. I'd pick "e" if I were to make one. ha! ********************************************** WARNING: Known to swing out over ___! a. laptop deals b. plasma deals c. MP3 player deals d. hot toy deals e. all of the above EDIT! Here's another one. Back of shirt: Better re-think next year's strategy. GOTTADEAL.COM These are fun!
  19. [/b][/b] Hmmmm. I really have to play devil's advocate here. Ever thought that just maybe that's why the policy has changed? Stores have to draw the line somewhere, I suppose.
