just came back from there and walmart and they are empty. I think i saw a few things of wrapping paper and bags but thats about it. Walmart was bringin out the valentines stock already

well mine was running good then it just kept shutting off. Looked in pc forums and this was a known problem in the 8400's. Dell just denied it till i talked to a American rep on phone and he said yea...theres a prob with the 8400's shutting down. So they just sent out a tech finally to replace motherboard and powersupply but now im stuck hitting f1 key everytime i start it cause says cannot read floppy. Been like that for months but i say, better not call and have tech come back cause he could mess it up even more lol

yes i agree the monitors are good, but the towers lol...umm..well you can go to pc forums and see the customers reactions to them i probably was one of them ranting.

oh i didn't mean the buying process, i meant how it ran lol. After 3 months they had to come here, after calling 30 times, to come replace the powersupply and motherboard, get home...now i have to hit f1 everytime i start it. Not calling back cause god knows what will happen if this guy comes back, oh and they downgraded my soundcard

i have this monitor...well the 19'' flat panel(might be different model) ..... good monitor :) but i can't say same about their towers (in my case anyway)

Because quite a few ppl forget to mail in the rebates, or these "mistakes" the companies make, they hope the people forget about the rebates and then they didn't lose any money by selling the item at full price with the rebate. I'm dealing with office depots right now, of course they got the $10 dollar one, but they didn't get the $75 dollar one, go figure:curse:

i think they are just backed up with everything there. Im still waiting on my rebates, and the $10 dollar one is just tonite processing, of course not the $75 dollar one:mad: . But i bet they have alot of rebates and orders to deal with from black friday.

yeah i said this in another thread of the loss of 1%. And i saw when i went back out to the mall around 6pm that it was dead. I guess everyone just went out for the doorbusters and that was it.

where was this rumor reported at? A news site, forum, bb employee? Oh and also im seeing on the main news sites (cnn, etc) that BF didn't go that well, was down 1percent from last year and this year their were bigger discounts. So maybe retailers are going to be doing big sales b4 xmas to boost this.

My opinion on this is...if you're that stupid and desperate to go on ebay to pay triple or more for the item you want...well thats you . But im sure some store or site online will have these items at normal price before xmas, its still around 4 weeks away. For example, you gotta be crazy to spend 700 to 2000 for an xbox on ebay but thats just me.

i have a question about rebates. What if there is 2 rebates for one item and they want the original upc for each rebate? Do you just send both rebates in one envelope with the upc in it? Er nm they dont have the same address on them. So what do you do then? Thanks for the help,

i voted office depot because once i got the ticket by the cameras for the canon A520, i went to the register and the guy said ok i'll get someone to get this just wait on the side...i kept asking him every 10 mins where my camera was and hes like i paged them 15 mins ago thats all i could do i finally grabbed a girl from customer service after 45 minutes waiting and she got it and rang me up. grrrrrrrrrrrr 45 mins wasted there :mad: I was so pissed i didn't realize she asked me if i wanted the 20 dollar giftcard and i just grabbed my receipt and left. I think it was mostly the morons that work there, cashier and stockboy.
