My store just switched to these. I was very confused at first. I thought all the signs were gone since I couldn't read the gray screen from a distance. I certainly hope the ad setters have jobs doing something else.

Undersand the holiday working. DH was a store manager for Blockbuster for 13 years. Open 10 am to midnight 365 days per year back in the day. Managers were required to work the holidays. Back then, they were one of the only stores open on Thanksgiving. The were always packed all day long.

I'm very interested to see how this pricing strategy pans out. They are the only store that I am aware of that carries a large selection of Tall merchandise. In the past, their discounts were not the same on the Tall merchandise. For instance, a regular size sweater on their website would be on sale for $14.99, while the Tall version would be $27.99. I can see a couple dollars more, but it never made much sense. I'm hoping there might be more consistency with the new pricing. Also, I won't have to feel like I need to get out of bed early on a Saturday to make sure I get to their sale on time. Other that Black Friday, I'm not a fan of having to shop within a 4-5 hour window.

I work for a large retailer and our distribution center is closed for inventory the first two weeks of January so we don't start shipping again to stores until mid-january.

Medina Ohio 70%. Very odd mish-mosh of stuff left. Not one roll of wrapping paper or any gift tags at all. I have a git tag addication and I usually find something, but not one tag to be found! There were some random gift bags, a few ornaments and some Christmas CDs. My most exciting find was the Phillips LED color-changing snowflakes. These are normally $7, so they were $2.10. I have 6 small windows that these will look great in.

I need to replenish my wrapping paper and box supply. Was thinking of heading to Walmart and Big lots. Can anyone tell me if they have much of anything left? Thanks!

Tons of trees left thus afternoon at strongsville Ohio. There were about ten white trees left and at least 100 green trees. 6.5foot green tree prelit was $9.50 at 75% off I don't remember the size if the white but it was reg $40. I really wanted the white tree but I'm pretty sure my dh would have shot me.

Lol. I have the same weakness. I wrapped all my gifts this year and didn't use the same paper twice. I also have a problem with gift tags. I don't think I could use them all in my lifetime. But they have to coordinate with the paper right? I pick up more every year at 75% off so at least I'm not spending much.

Medina Ohio 50% with dollAr spot at 75%. tons of ornaments left. No wrapping paper. Several styles of outdoor lighted sculptures. Candy gone. Also a boatload of icicle lights and stockings. Saw axe gift sets for $7.48. There was a $3 off coupon in the paper a couple weeks ago that is valid until Jan 8th.

Was at end of line for kohls opening. The line to checkout was wrapped around the store by 3:15. Decided to come back later. At penneys for opening with only ten others. Easy in and out. Then to target. Police activity in the parking lot. Got pjs and the scooter and back to kohls and only took about 30 mins to check out. Old navy was out if control around 8am. People said they had been in line for over an hour. There was nothing I needed that badly so I left. Good day overall.

I used to love the half off Christmas decorations. You don't see much of that anymore on black Friday.
