  1. Meijer on-line does have the A510 for $149, if I choose my parents' location (Battle Creek, MI). It shows not available at my location (Ypsilanti MI). I think this is a pretty good deal... http://www.meijer.com/products/product.asp?KeyID=1&Hrcy_ID=5&SubCat_ID=51&UPC=1380304787&SRC=1 (not sure if the link will work...) Joanne
  2. Hello, I have this sweet camera (well, the A-75, precursor), my dad has the A510 and we want to get one for my Grandpa for his 80th birthday in February. I have seen the 520 for $159 at Circuit City, but I wonder if there is a better deal... I think I heard that the 510 is on sale at Meijer for $149... would you keep shopping, or just jump on that? Is there much difference between the A510 and A520? Thanks, Joanne
  3. I thought if you called customer service, they would re-assign you to the new plan and extend your contract by 6 months. Although, the web site says new customers only. My dad talked to them and they told him that they are extending contracts at the promo prices right now. Looks like the SBC-ATT merger has made the pages hard to find. Here is a link I found to their pkg deals right now: https://swot.sbc.com/swot/dslMassMarketCatalog.do?do=view&serviceType=DYNAMICIP This might be a more direct link: http://www.sbc.com/gen/general?pid=6431 They were offering referral credits to SBC customers. I dunno if it's still active. You could go to sbcreferral.com and enter a customer code to pass on the referral (my code is TB4185001). Here is a .pdf link to the specifics of their current offers from the sbc referral page: http://sbcreferral.com/Images/PDF/DSL.pdf I would definitely call customer service. They have leeway on these issues, I think. For the most part, there CS has been very, very good to me :) Note: You must be an SBC customer (phone) to get their DSL. Also, I have the DSL Express, and the speeds are great. Hope this helps, Joanne
  4. We have SBC DSL and i was (and am) very happy... $16.95 per month, plus a $60 visa cash card... the term of service is 6 months right now, but they're telling me that the price isn't expected to rise... you can get the promotional pricing again upon completion of your riginal contract... ..of course modem was free after mail-in rebate
  5. Staples will only use one $3 coupon per purchase, however... I turned in 3 cartridges yesterday and got 3-$3 coupons that expire in 3 months...
  6. Success! Target had one, and while I thought it was too big, it was actually perfect. My daughter will be SO happy tonight when she goes to bed... :):):) Joanne
  7. When I click the gottadeal link to restaurant.com in the original message, I get the error message. I know that I can type it in onmy own, but I would like to give the referral to gottadeal.com. I've gotten some great deals, etc. from this page and would like to return the favor. Joanne
  8. I would like to try this, but I have problems clicking referral links. I always get the "page cannot be displayed" message. Do you have any tips for how to fix this??? I have tried the things listed on the error page, but none of them work. (I also have Norton Internet Security). Joanne
  9. Thanks! I went after lunch today and also found the Disney Plug-N-Play for $4.99... and none of them were marked! They were across the aisle from the 80% off sign. I also found a dress shirt for my husband for ~$9. LOTS of clothing merchandise on clearance...
  10. Great deal, but too bad they don't have a store pickup option... shipping is $6.95 Joanne
  11. The Decorate Today website is a good one. I have ordered from them before and had success. They have a showroom in Plymouth, MI where you can check out the wallpaper catalogs, etc... as well. I have ordered both blinds and wallpaper border fromo them. There are also usually 10% discounts floating around for them as well.
  12. Thanks for the tips... I don't know where the closest Spencer's is (and I don't think I have been in one since I was 17 LOL)... I will try Target. I saw a bulb there but it looked too big. I will bring the original in with me. Wish me luck :) Joanne
  13. Thanks for the links... I always forget to check E-bay... The Bulb I am looking for is a 25R14N, I think... it has a flatter top than these flood light bulbs. I am afraid we're going to have to win another lamp at Chuck E Cheese just for the replacement bulb :) Thanks again, Joanne
  14. Hello, Last year my daughter "bought" a lava lamp at Chuck E Cheese, and recently the light bulb burned out. It is 120V 25 W with an intermediate base (17mm). It is reflective-coated at the bottom, and has a flat top (not curved). Can anybody help me find a place to order a replacement bulb??? Thanks, Joanne
  15. thanks for the image, femalesliealot... we're heading off to buy some toys for tots :)

    Winkflash?

My order came yesterday... the pictures wee a hint dark, but I thought they were acceptable (especially for free :) . I also liked that you can add text to the back of the prints... not much, but my kids' names plus the image name. I also ordered mousepads... they were $6.95, plus $3 shipping for 3 pads. They came out great! The colors were very crisp and bright; I am very satisfied. They said shipping would be delayed, but I thought they came quite quickly!
  17. Hello, Mine arrived today! Looks great :) Thanks for the tip on this deal. My husband saw the charge on our CC and askied, "Who's Real Entertainment?"... he was glad to hear that it was V SMile...
  18. This summer my daughter turned 8, and we bought her the Kodak c300 digital camera... It is VERY easy to operate, has an LCD screen and even a small zoom lens. The pictures come out very well. This is SO much better than developing prints of the floor, blank walls, etc... I think she is learning about photography because of the instant gratification of seeing the pictures immediately :) http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0007RALH8/qid=1134494886/sr=8-1/ref=pd_bbs_1/002-6033070-7688017?n=507846&s=photo&v=glance

    Gamecube

Toys R Us is offering the Gamecube with Mario Party 7, Monkeyball and another game I can't remember, plus 2 controllers and a microphone, for $109. Most stores ae sold out of the 2 extra games, but we were lucky enough to find one :) It sounds like the Wal-Mart deal ($79.97) is a good one, too!
