Hello, I was at Sears this morning, and they had 50% off all toys, except for Extreme Makeover, The First Years (I think) and Peg Perego. This includes Fisher Price, Littlest Pet Shop, Bratz, and a whole lot more :) I purchased a FP Castle (reg $40) and FP Mega T-Rex (reg $26) for $20 and $12.50, respectively.... and of course the sales clerk said at the end of the transaction "Now you know, all the toy clearance goes to 75% on the 14th" Of course, I will be popping in to re-purchase and return for the credit difference first thing Wednesday morning! Hope this helps, Joanne

Well, my daughters have the older color pixter... They are 7 and 9.5.... they really don't play with them anymore... my 7 yr old will play maybe once in a blue moon, but it is the 3 yr old that really likes it. The girls play Nintendo DS, and he plays pixter at the same time :) I think the software is a little younger than 8+ yeas old... Hope this helps :) Joanne

FYI there is an additional 15% off today for Macy's card holders... We found a $70 dress shirt for DH for $7, and a $600 wool overcoat for $165.... (we don't have the Macy's card, or everything would have been cheaper yet ) Joanne

Yes, it was 30% off clearance prices... the ticket was marked $99.99.

Howdy! We went to Macy's looking for a suit for DH. He has a job interview on Monday. Well, I was *shocked* at the clearance deals in Men's Dresswear! We found a Ralph Lauren suit, reg. $450 on sale for $69!!!! There were lots of other great deals as well... another gentleman was purchasing an $800 suit for $200. I was certain that we would drop a fortune, but we came out under $300 for shirt, 3 ties, suit and alterations... Now hopefully the interview will go welll... Joanne

I had a good morning myself at Target (Ann Arbor east/Ypsi)... things were FLYING off the shelves! I saw a lady with a cartful of toys as I walked in the door and busted over to toys as fast as I could. I saw: drum set (reg $100) for $25 bratz babyz bride & groom (reg 20) for $5 LOTS many other bratz moon shoes lots of spiderman toys my little pony castles (reg $56) for $14 LOTS I bought Trivial Pursuit DVD game for $6.xx yahtzee scorecards for .98 matchbox dinosaur car/thing for $2.xx bratz schoolgirl for $4.xx "jelly" jump ropes for .86 one aisle was cleared out entirely while I was there... people were calling friends to pick stuff up for them :) Not much other "good" clearance... some clothes 75%, but nothing I needed. Hats/mittens were 50%... ETA: I could have dropped hundreds in there if I had any space to store it! I'm SO glad I come to this page! I would never have gone to Target today if I wasn't looking for the 75% off things... now I am ready for b'day parties all year long! Joanne -

Thanks, everybody! I found a 1/2 aisle of Christmas at my store (Ann Arbor/Ypsi)!!! I found bows for .09, (LOTS!) TONS of stockings, many for .09, a holiday extension cord (white) for .19, christmas cards for .49, lots of glade infusions for .17 (apple cinnamon and 1 evergreen), the CARS light-up keychain for .24... plus I used coupons from today's paper for free chew-eez dog treats and electrasol. They had 2 of the snowman Cascade 80 ct gel packs, but they scanned at 12.xx, and the manager wouldn't bend. No Minute Maid juice or scotch tape, either. All in all, a good day, though! My husband thought I was gonna spend like crazy, but I walked out with 17 items for $7.94 :) Joanne -
Funny, but Staples can be difficult about that extra 10%. I brought an ad in at the time of purchase (a digital camera), and they would not give me the extra 10%, saying it was a price "match." If I had brought the ad in after I made the purchase, that would qualify for a price "guarantee" which qualifies for the additional 10%. I thought that was pretty petty, but since it was only $3 I didn't make a stink. (But, hey... $3 is $3 and I would do less for it.) So the moral of the story is, make the purchase first, and then go back for the price "guarantee.. Joanne

It appeared that way at first, but once I began the checkout process, it offered the in-store pick-up option... I am still on the fence, as my son doesn't need them NOW, but will in the spring... Joanne -
Ikea: Winter Clearance Sale Preview Dec 20-24 2006
bovichtj replied to bigjimslade's topic in Offline Hot Deals
We just bought a bunk bed for my son's b'day here... we'll put it together next week. The price was amazing ($149) and looks great, too :) Just FYI, a standard twin mattress is too big for IKEA bunks. You have to buy the mattresses from them, too... (still not bad...~$129-200, your choice). All in all, with IKEA bedding (2 down quilts, 2 covers & shams, 4 sheets, 2 pillows, 2 mattress pads, 2 mattresses & the bunk itself, we came out around $550... and that was regular price. I couldn't find anythng like that, even at Art Van! Joanne -

Need ideas for father. Please
bovichtj replied to Trish1298's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
Do you think he would like a hand-held video game? Even something like Battleship or Yahtzee. My dad pokes around with those all the time... he particularly likes a poker game. I will keep thinking... Joanne -
Well, I broke down and opened the Target Trutech frame. It isn't fancy, and the picture quality is OK... it looks better from 3-4 feet away. It seems pretty easy to operate, if you read the manual first :) I am satisfied but not blown away by this frame. I would say that it's not the highest picture quality, but then again, what do you expect for $68 :) I will still give this to my MIL for Christmas. Joanne
-
I wonder if I should open mine before giving it as a gift... Anybody else have a problem? Joanne
-
OK, I swear I saw it last week in the CC ad; now I can't find it! Does anyone have the specs on the CC digital photo frame??? I would like one that you can insert a memory card into... that way I can send pics to my MIL every so often... I just can't seem to find it anymore! Thanks, Joanne

I have this seat, and it's awesome! Great that you can get a great deal n it :) Joanne
