  1. This was me in 2003 :) I felt great... but I love the rush I feel from getting good deals :) As long as I had snacks with me, I was fine. My husband came along if I needed to use the bathroom; he would wait in line and I would just pile more stuff on him (wait, I still do that now, and I'm not pregnant...) He's very patient Joanne
  2. I have to agree... We visited this place in Phoenix over the summer, and they were VERY nice, the prices were great, and the photos were very high quality. We used these instead of school pictures becasue they came out so nice. I also heard that you can use the $9.99 promo package every 3 months. My SIL goes every month for her new baby, and the pictures we get are great! Wish thery were closer to me in MI. Joanne
  3. Gloey, Thanks, but I think it's the wrong one. Your link is to a player only, and the TRU one had a swivel screen... I do think it's interesting that the coupon says "Colby" but the brand is actually "Coby" Joanne
  4. Picked this up today... They were behind the counter and I had to ask for it...I couldn't use the $5 off $25; they said it was a copy of a valid coupon, and it needed to be color... guess I need to buy some color ink :) Joanne
  5. Is this a nice one??? We just selected a foster child from "Operation Good Cheer" and they would like a DVD player... I thought something like this would be nice. Do you expect any better deals??? With the $5 off $25 it's a pretty good deal :) Joanne
  6. This drives me crazy... isn't it false advertising and illegal? It happened at Mc Donalds for me... the manager didn't see that a sign was up, then when we pointed it out, he said "That shouldn't be there. It's old." Then pulled it. No sorry, no price correction, nothing. I was STEAMING mad. My husband didn't want to bother, but I was ticked :curse: Joanne
  7. Saw the pillow today, but it was stil $29...sorry. Joanne
  8. Those are nice... my Target also had a nice Eddie Bauer Badminton set, reg $49.99 for $24.98... they had about 6 of them, so I will keep watching to see if I can get it for $12 :) Joanne
  9. LOL!! Thanks, I guess! Hope you sleep better tonight :) Joanne
  10. I bought the comforter set in the same pattern for my daughter... I wish they still had this roll pillow!!! It would be awesome :) We bought the ribbon curtain to match, and I saw a ribbon-covered bulletin board at our Target on Saturday for, like $5... 75% off... but it looked too cheap. Now off to Lowe's to use the $10 coupon to paint the room to match :) Joanne
  11. I went to the Sears in Ann Arbor, and found 2 Lands End tank tops for $1 each (reg $10) There were a lot of great LE deals to be found...solid LE tanks for girls $2...ladies' LE summer tops at $5.98 (reg $24)... A pleasant surprise :) Joanne
  12. Today I found a lawn sprinkler reg $6.99 down to $1.74, and a hand sprinkler from $3.99 fo $.98... They also had a lot of scrapbook things marked down... I also found a pkg of 8 thank you cards marked down from $2 to $.98... Joanne
  13. Thanks for these tips... I had to search it out and find help :) Photobucket was VERY easy to use, esp. with the re-sizing thing and the codes they created for the images... Couldn't have done it myself :) Joanne
  14. Well, there were 2 kinds... I never saw the picture of the domed one until today, and I'm not positive I saw the correct one. There was another Spiderman rectangular tent in addition... I think that one was $27.99. Oh, well... I'll find another deal soon, thanks to this thread :) Joanne
  15. My Target in Ann Arbor had abot 6 of the Spiderman tents, with shelf tags saying $29.99, and scanning $29.99... Joanne
  16. Thanks for the tip on the sandals... my daughter LOVES sandals, and I LOVE Lands End! I found a lovely pink pair for next summer! Joanne
  17. These boots are quite awesome... my 3 kids all have them (clearance, of course) and they are so well made... their feet stay SUPER dry, and they are really easy to put on/off... If they made adult sizes, I would probably buy them for myself! Joanne
  18. Thanks, OP! I took the OD ad to Staples, and they price-matched plus 10%...$29.99-$21.99 +$8, and then I brought in an ink cartridge for a final price of $5!!! Excellent deal :) :) :) Joanne
  19. Thanks! I had a $10 disneyshopping.com credit from a VISA sweepstakes last winter, and I bought a Buzz Lightyear swimsuit & PJ's for my 2 yr old son.... after the certificate, I spent $6 :) Thanks OP! Joanne
  20. I GOT IT!!! Hooray! One guy thought they were out, and had been telling people it was gone... and 2 girls were there looking at the Gateway (which ended up being OOS)... I just spoke up and said "I'll take the HP!" and the guy found it and rang it up :) The other girls walked out empty-handed.... Thanks, everybody! Now I'll have to head over to the Tech forum and find out how to set up a router for the wireless business :) Joanne
  21. Okee Dokee! We're hoppin' in the car... I called and they have 1 in stock... wish me luck! Back with an update in about 1.5 hrs... Joanne
  22. Thanks again! We are eligible for the extended warranty...they match the time if under 1 yr and add 1yr if over 1 yr... What about this laptop??? http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=7902978&type=product&id=1149206615548 HP Pavillion 410 Seems to be a better deal; I would have to drive 1/2 hr, but is it worth the drive? Joanne
  23. Definitely VISA :) We were going to purchase a RAM upgrade from zipzoomfly or the like... Guess I will pack up the kids and head out! Thanks... I thought this was too good to turn down :) Joanne
  24. Okay, My anniversary is this week, and since DH bought himself a 56" Samsung 1080 DLP, I decided I would like a laptop. Just for internet surfing and games (like pogo.com)... Would this be a good choice??? We have an e-machines T3256 for our desktop, and AT&T DSL, so we would need a router... (And our local BB is still in stock :) ) Should I jump? Joanne
  25. I got the flier with the % off, too... maybe next time :) Joanne
