My local manager just called me!!! This just might be working. he asked me how soon I would like the ads out, and why I didn't like the idea of "legal action" towards sights that leaked information. i told him "we all know it is coming, they have decorations out, roll backs in place, and we are planning as well, the 1st of November sounded good to me"!!! I also told him that no action is taken against news show reports of grocery shopping ads for the week, and "what to buy where"He is going to push it up to above him, I also pointed out that if there wasn't a want for this info, people wouldn't be looking. It isn't just his competitors, but his actual customers that want this information. He said he would be calling me back with follow up!!

Are our numbers here big enough to make a differance? I shop less and less at Walmart. I can boycott easily, but as I was on hold I heard over and over how they"value their customers". BS!!! They need to WORK to keep me as a customer, make my life easier, not harder. I looked forward to aall ads, to buy more...not less.

Did anyone else get the response that" somebody would be contscting me in the next 2 business days"? I did lay it on really heavy about not even having another competitor in a 50 mile radius of my local Walmart. It is even 20 miles away from where I live. How even rumors of the ad builds business around here. Another reason the are actually finding less and less of my $$, is their actions and threats towards consumers.

Victorias Secret calls me to verify, my billing is a po box, ships to my street address. But they always call.

I took the plunge and ordered my daughter a camera from kodak(refurb), and thought i could send it back if I didn't like the looks of it. I saved about $50, and it is early enough to send it back, if I need to!!!

I recall Kmart doing gift bags, one year with 101 dalmations. Seems like over the years, it has lost a lot of fun!!

I read another thread about doing for a family. I always try to do something every year, and this year my sub for santa drive will be getting bottles of Victorias Secret garden lotions/gel/sprays. Teenagers are my soft spot, what are yours?

i am thinking about a refurb camera for my daughter... just because i get her som much better of one.. for the $$.

I am trying to come up with new ideas as our family is changing by growing up. So far I have come up with watching movies and driving around that night to see lights. Food, food and junk food. We used to attend a party that had the "big red suit", but we aren't going this year. I am desperate for ideas to keep it fun, so the kids don't want to be other places!!!

I am a list maker...but go off course all the time. I think I know what I need to get, but cannot ever resist temptation when I see something. I get it all together somehow before December 1st...and make sure everything is "even". I have 5 kids(1 married/ 1 grandchild) 2 SO of my older kids to shop for, a branchy( very branchy) family tree, and employees(20 ish), my coworkers & neighbors & friends!! How do you keep it all organized?

I really am starting to think i might have a problem. My tree is themed, my wrapping paper is themed. I spend a lot of time time picking the paper, bows, gift bags..etc. Santa gifts get Santa paper. "To Go"( any gift that leaves me house by the week before ) gifts gets a variety.I wonder if I am approaching needing therapy.

thsi will be my 15th year shopping and my 4th( i think) year hear. Love it, haven't left!!

I think the best stress reliver is preparing all year for what you can, and enjoying the season itself. Shopping to me is sport, but I love to wrap. So I save that for some fun. I have 4 kids, so they are all busy in December, and I can't imagine trying to squeeze all of my shopping in that month. Relax!!!!

I was thinking about this just the other day. I got to be an elve last year, as well as the SS. Loved it!! can't wait to be assigned!!

I buy all year..so I don't really budget it. I am very lucky and blessed the last few years to not have to. When I went back to work, I used the $$ just for Christmas...kept me very happy. I do save change for $$ just to blow.

when Santa is at our house.. he wants peanut clusters. I have to leave out cookies just for tradition sake.

Are we just supposed to coleect certain items? My DH will be sooo happy!! Seriously..I just collect everything. My latest fix is gingerbread/candy type ornaments and such.

Last year I hardly spent any(under 50). I really want to spend a lot of $$$, but I just haven't found much to buy the last few years.

I finally saw the furreal parrot last night and the i can play guitar. I liked the parrot, but the guitar is a plug and play. We haven't had much luck with those. Hmmm, now i need to decide on the parrot!!!
