After messing around for a mintue, I finally got it to add to my cart for the right price. Hope my 8yo likes it!!

Well here, Santa requests peanut clusters,cookies and milk. I have also scattered oatmeal mixed with glitter( that goes with a cute little poem which I have forgotten) out in our yard for the reindeer. But my kids have never woken up on their own!! EVER!! We make them all sleep in one bedroom, hook up a baby moniter and listen. Then my husband will get impateint by 7:00, climb out our bedroom window and rattled sleighbells against their window until they wake up!!!

I am getting a little crazy here. I need to sit down , make the list of the things I need, then the list of things that I want to buy. I just wake up every morning thinking "today will be the day that an ad is out"!! Hmmmm. I'll make my lists tonight over a nice drink, and at least be one day closer!!

I have convinced my older kids (18 & 16) that there is a room in the Grandmothers basement that they have never found. They actually spend time in her basement(it is finished) and it has a really weird layout. You could get lost in there. Then I hide it basicly in plain sight. They are convinced that nothing is here, so they don't look. My 2 little ones caught me last week though before I could hide something. I might need a new plan.

One of my sons wants...." a hershey bar, bubble tape, and maybe a toy or somethin like that." He is 8, and very serious about maybe adding his 2 front teeth. He is gonna be hard to shop for!!!

Any recipes... all of our leaves are blowing around and fall is in the air..so I need to be in the kitchen!!

Ok, I am ready for some new things, and I am hoping that all of you will post your favorite recipes....so I can try them!!! I trust you guys a heck of a lot more than any ol' recipe I can just anywhere!! I am ready to start cooking and baking!!

I actually use mittens so they work great for me. I am trying to talk my sons high school to sell hot chocolate and coffee too!! I don't want to be cold!!!

I live where it can be brutal cold for BF, and I am a wuss!! I love the "thermacare" wraps for my neck and shoulders all year, but they come in really handy for BF as well as the "hot hands" warmers that are out in stores right now for a lot less. A pack of 4 for $1.97 and they last up to 10 hours. It makes the weather a lot easier to handle for me!!

I am in love with wrap/bows/tissue/ and tags. I order stuff all year, plan & prepare for looks of certain boxes and gifts. My Dh bought me the nicest organizers. they are from rubbermaid, but they are zippered bags, and ones that hang up. they are awsome. I will be looking for more this year. To me, it's not just the gift, but the presentaion... my husband thinks a walmart gift bag tied in a knot has the same effect!!!

Does anyone know if Bestbuy.com refreshes their stock online? Do you think it will be out of stock all week?

he wants to play "Warcraft"... but knowing his personality, he isn't going to play it much. He just deosn't have much free time, as in maybe 1 hour a week, so I don't know how long he will even want to do that. I understand it is addicting, but his attention span isn't very long. I bought my DD an "ACER" last year, and while the computer is fine, the software it came with wasn't usefull at all.

Oh that "be patient " thing? It is so hard to wait!!!! Yeah, he will be playing a few games, but mostly music & internet things. Ughh!! I only have walmart for BF!!! They only had 17 laptops last year!!

I was one of the parents that stood in line for the ps2. Only 17 were shipped to our city, and I did get one. What makes it really pathetic is that my kids did not even know what it was. A few days after Christmas, my house was filled with neighborhood kids.

Do the coupons work in the "VF' in Utah?

Stores are sold out, and I don't need one untill Christmas, which is good. Do you think I should just grab the first one I find, or do you think they will be back in good supply before Christmas?

We refer to our family tree as being very "branchy", and it makes it very hard to do. It is not as if we buy for 2 sets of parents, but 4, and then the list gets growing. Throw in extended family, friends, kids, employees/coworkers, neighbors and we are talking over 50-60 at my house. I do love the spirit of giving..so I enjoy doing it...honestly except for the rude people that I feel takes the joy away.

Holy cow, my MIL and I have dropped off 4 suv loads at her office before. That in turn means, 4 trips home (25 miles away). then my hubby always wants to venture out later Friday as well!! Ughh, I hope gas drops here soon! We are still the 2nd highest state!

Do you think that there will be a lot out there thi s year in terms of great buys...on stuff you actually want?

I too recall it being hype and no substance. I was keyed up and ready to shop..yet no sales? I think a possible explanation may be that it is a busy shopping day becuase of BF, and what people need to get after that weekend.

I love, love, love, love to wrap. I try to set aside a day to do this, but yet I don't put any "stay at home " gifts under our tree. Just the "need to be delivered". I still have my lil ones still beleiving in Santa, so they get special Santa Paper. I am trying to talk my hubby or girlfriends into going to Vegas for the weekend, shop all day, have dinner, a show, and have a wrapping marathon all night. It would be all finished when we go home!!

I consider myself a complete holiday junkie, and shop fro Christmas ornaments, decorations, and gifts ALL year, however I don't like seeing the displays out this early. It seems that by the time it actually gets here, I am tired of it. First of November would be great to me.

My dh doesn't get his bonus until the 15th of December...if he gets one. I say that because we look at it as a "bonus", and I never want to jinx it.
