Microwaves My local Target had microwaves (0.6 cu ft) and 700 watts marked down to $16.54 yesterday. They are not the digital ones but the dial operated ones but they do have the glass turntables. Not a bad idea just to store away if/when your microwave goes to electronic heaven:p They had tons of them, on endcaps and in the aisles as well. FYI Also got some twin XL sheets (some cotton/some t-shirt material) the entire set for $3.24...good for the college dorm beds!

Now I tried doing the dancing skeleton one and I put in CLVR but it doesn't take any money off. Is there a different code maybe? Any help is appreciated. thanks

I got this website earlier and I think it is really good. www.recipesecrets.net It has all sorts of holiday things to make, lots of cookies, bars, fudges etc It will be fun to try It also has the recipes and ideas for gift jars etc, which I am hoping to try this year.

I am looking to make gift jars this year Food, including cookies, bars, soups etc would be appreciated Also does anyone know of jars for other gifts? I thought I have seen some for beverages and even soaps etc? Also while I am on the subject does anyone here make candles? Can you share some ideas on that if you do:confused: Thanks so much

I had to bargain for BF off. If I take that day off, I must work the day after Christmas. Oh well I hope it will be worth it.

Christmas Vacation is a must see. Also the Muppets and Sesame Street Christmas, its the one way they all end up together at Fozzie Bears mothers house and get snowed in. The Sweedish Chef keeps sizing up Big Bird for his Christmas dinner:juggle: Its got ALL Jim Henson characters including Fraggle Rock. It is very rarely on here but I love that movie. Would love to get the DVD or VHS version!!

my boss is very generous and we get a nice christmas bonus $$ however we usually get it the last day we work before christmas so it does no good for Christmas shopping:worried: My friends husband works for a prestigious law firm in Boston and their end of the year bonus is based on how well the firm did during the past year. Last year he got over $90,000!! Wow did she marry well or what, I am jealous. Thats a few years salary for me. And the bonus is in one lump sum and on top of his regular salary, how depressing for us poor folks:juggle:

Isn't Thanksgiving because of the Pilgrims giving thanks to God for their new life and abundance here in America? So IMHO it is in some ways a religious holiday:gdpoint:

we go out for Chinese food and then see a newly released movie (they always release a new movie every year on Thanksgiving) then I mooch leftovers from anyone for that to die for Turkey/stuffing/ cranberry sauce sandwich......

I don't think any of our local K-Marts can open on T-day, at least they never have to my knowledge. I live in Mass and I am pretty sure it violates the "blue laws". I would go if it were open however. We have a rather unusual T-day here anyways, we go to a new movie and eat Chinese food...its different but its our tradition for the past 14 years:rolleyes:

Hi our microwave "died" yesterday and I am looking for a cheap one. Preferably one with the digital keypad and turntable. I am so mad cause I just bought my son one at Best Buy for $28. for his dorm room, had I known I would have bought 2.
