  1. Is it just me or does that seem like a lot of money for a mixer?
  2. 3. Thanks. I'll take a look. Well, the Macy's looks pretty cheesy. The other 2 look nice but I wouldn't spend that much unless I saw it in person and it really did look realistic. Guess I'm just gonna have to suck it up and hit the stores - WalMart, Kmart, Lowes, Home Depot - and pick the one that looks the best. Or I could just send my wife with a credit card and not worry about it. :)
  4. Used to have a nice one that had the lights already on it but a couple years ago the lights quit working so we tossed it. Last year we thought we'd go with a live tree - which was kind of nice I guess - but was very expensive. I think we paid $80 to $90 for a tree that smelled nice for a few days and then dried up and died. I'd like to get a tall tree, at least 7' but 8' would be better. Anyone seen good deals on Xmas trees this year - BF ads maybe? What can I expect to pay for a nice looking 8' artificial Xmas tree?
  5. The link from the scanned BF ad pages just goes to a Lowes webpage with no ads. http://lowes.shoplocal.com/lowes/default.aspx?action=entryflash&adref=top_nav_header&storeref=0000
  6. Sunday Nov. 16th http://www.sears.com/shc/s/dap_10153_12605_DAP_Sears+VIP?SID=IOx20080312x00001?sid=I0084400010000100600&aff=Y
  7. Is it true Plasma TV's are better for watching sports?
  8. I bought a similar helicopter last year for $16.99 from buy.com. It was extremely fragile and was almost impossible to get it to stay in the air for more than 5 seconds. After a few crashes it broke. You get what you pay for in this case.
  9. Anyone still able to use this? I tried this morning and I'm getting, "Sorry, this promotion cannot be found."
  10. $9.95 for delivery! Didn't Staples used to have free shipping to store?
  11. Took me forever getting the jpg files just the way I wanted them but I finally got one ordered. Went with my name, address, and emergency contact #'s on one side and pics of my kids on the other side. The preview looked pretty good on their website but we'll see how the final product turns out. For $1.99, though, I certainly won't complain. :)
  12. Does anyone actually have one of these yet? Curious as to the actual quality of the finished product. They state, "The pictures are printed out on high quality photo paper and coated with top quality waterproof enamel that is crystal clear." I was wondering if this would work as an emergency id tag: name, home phone, emergency contact #'s, blood type, etc. I suppose I could make a jpg file in Paint Shop Pro with all the necessary info.
  13. Hmm, won't let me. I get: "This movie opens on Friday, November 7. Showtimes are not yet available in your area. Fandango can send you a FanAlertâ„¢ e-mail as soon as tickets for Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa are available." Oh well, guess I'll just have to use it later.
  14. Just seems weird their promo starts today but movie doesn't open for 10 days so you can't even buy the tickets.
  15. Agreed. Great deal. If only all Xbox 360 games were this affordable.
