  4. This is probably stupid, but does anyone have ANY idea how long this will be on sale at this price? Thank you!
  5. I've had 2 Sony's, and I've loved them both. They MIGHT have a good price on a Kodak at Office Max on BF this year (or so I heard somewhere...). If I remember right, it had a 10x optical zoom - it caught my eye 'cause the better zoom is important to me too. My sister had a Fuji that wasn't worth having. But I don't know if that was because of the brand, or if she just got a bad camera.
  6. I love recipes! I'm going to have to print all of these out! Here's something that has been a big hit the last couple years at our large family dinners. The person I got this from just calls it "Snickers Salad": 12 green granny smith apples 12 regular snickers bars (or 8 of the super size Snickers bars) 2 big tubs of Cool Whip 1 8 oz cream cheese, softened. chop the apples into small cubes. Cut up the snickers, as best you can, into small chunks mix the cream cheese & Cool Whip together, add in the apples and the snickers a little at a time. The more you add, the harder it gets to stir. You may not use the entire 2 tubs of Cool Whip, it depends on how creamy you want it. Personally, I use both full tubs. This is not a pretty dessert - in fact it looks pretty gross. But it tastes sooooo good (what's not to like - Snickers & Cool Whip??)
  7. I emailed pics for tasks 2 & 3. Thank you!!!
  8. Ace Hardware...September 15
  9. I have ordered a lot from Sportsmans Guide, and never been disappointed.
  10. OK, I have a question. How many tickets are you talking about? I mean, do you stand in line for 24 hours, for 1 ticket, and sell it for $50.00? Or do you get 5-10 tickets and sell them for $50.00 ea? If you got 1 ticket, I can see where selling it would be okay but if you got several with the intent of turning around and selling them, aren't you screwing the other shoppers? You've become the doorbuster at that point - right? Or am I looking at this wrong? I've only shopped BB one year - and I got what I wanted, and the sales people were great. So, do they generally have a limit on the # of tickets you can get? (And I'm talking for 1 specific item)
  11. OK, I've never really had a "bad" experience on BF. My cousins always have stories to tell, and my sister and I had decided it must all be their fault. But, after reading these posts, maybe they aren't so crazy - my sis & I are just lucky :). Anyway, if I had to pick a bad year it would be this...Several years ago my sister and I needed something from Kay-B toys. We got to the mall a couple hours before opening, and there was no one there. It was rainy that morning, so we waited in the car. Time came for Kayb to open, and there was still no one else at the mall! Finally, I called information and it turns out that mall did not have a Kay-B Toys!! Yeah, we felt pretty stupid . By the time we got to the correct mall, about 10 minutes away, the line for Kay-B toys was ridiculous! I don't remember what the item was, but I remember there was no way we were waiting in that line for it.
