  1. We have dinner at my aunt’s house. Fortunately, they are avid BF shoppers too. We keep talking about moving dinner to Saturday, but I think one of them has dinner at their in-laws on that day.
  2. I have the names assigned. I will try to get the lists out by tomorrow, but I’m computerless this weekend and I’m not very proficient at the iPad .
  3. Oklahoma keeps talking about doing away with it. I’d be fine with that, I just wish they’d do it all over the country if they do. I think it would get confusing having to remember we are an hour different than the rest of the central time zone. Lol
  4. We always started there too! We would go after looking at all the ads and making our plan, then go home and sleep a couple hours before really getting into the fray .

I remember how much his daddy and uncle enjoyed these when they were young.
  6. Walmart & Target, obviously. Then I don't know after that. We go to several smaller stores, but really the sales are all the same every year.
  7. Today is officially the last day to get your info in. I am extending that through tomorrow. I'll still try to get everyone's names to them by Sunday. Please check the lists and make sure I have you in the exchanges you want to be in! I don't want to sign you up for something you don't want, and I sure don't want to miss anyone!
  8. I'm gettin nuthin for Christmas Lyric: By now in New York City, There's snow on the ground
  9. I rarely shopped there, so I guess I contributed to their downfall, but that catalog sure was a good wish book!
  10. Time is running out. Please get your info in by Friday. We have some regulars that haven't signed up yet this year. I hope all is well with them!

My brother in law is into it, so I downloaded the app and went out looking once. It does sound like fun.
  12. Answer: Must Be Santa Lyrics: I believe there's always hope when all seems lost
  13. So thankful everything worked out well. How scary that must have been!
  14. THAT IS IT! You know, I thought it was Clay Walker, and I've searched for Christmas songs by him, and never found it. Thank you SO much! Please Come Home for Christmas (or Bells Will be Ringing) Lyric: It's the time for play, it's a whipped cream day
  15. It's just me and one grown son in the house now, so hiding things isn't too hard anymore. When my boys were growing up, I kept most of their presents in my office for as long as I could. Then they would get stacked in my closet or my room and "camouflaged" with blankets and pillows. As for keeping track, I keep everything in an Excel workbook. I keep it in Dropbox, so I have access to it from anywhere. I have my Christmas lists saved in that workbook, all the way back to 2003. It's fun to look back through the years sometimes .
  16. Congrats winners! As always, this is my favorite contest. I enjoyed reading everyone's captions!
  17. I'd go with the Barbies. That's a decent deal, especially for 2 dolls and the horse and carriage. Also, the air mattress on page 14 seems like a decent price. You know, I actually see several deals in this ad that would be a good deal today. *already won
  18. Wow, angelbabymommy, that's awesome of you. Thanks!
  19. I know! I asked on here a few years ago about a line from a Christmas song. I can only partly remember the one line, and can't for the life of me figure out the song. It's bothered me for years, and every year I try searching online and it's never there. It was a cowboy Christmas song, and the cowboy was out on the road and afraid he wouldn't make it home in time for Christmas. Santa finds him and says something to the effect of "Don't worry, partner, your house is on my way. And if you can hold on for 8 seconds, that's all it takes to get there on a sleigh". I'm starting to think I made it up. If it's not on the internet, I must have, right? LOL **Also, the results of this search are not always safe for work!
  20. Mary, Did You Know (and that is my favorite line from ANY Christmas song, ever!) Lyric: My whole life is turned around, I was lost and now I'm found.
