My husbands birthday is on Dec. 22nd. What makes it more difficult is he's so hard to shop for. Isnt into anything, wants nothing. And if I do get a really cool gift, do I save it for Bday or Chrmas? (usually pick Chrmas). He feels really bad about ppl having to acknowledge his BD cuz he knows everyone is busy and its another gift to buy. But never ever wrap in Christmas paper!! I wouldn't do that anyways.) Now that his kids are grown we usually get together for a dinner a week or so before, but he even feels bad doing that.

My sister went last yr for a $149 20" LCD..lined up inside around 3am, they wouldnt let you near them, I believe they were kept in back. They gave them out close to 5am One yr I wanted the undercabinet 7" lcd/dvd. They were stacked on the floor, maybe 50 of them with an associate guarding them. I walked behind the pile, put one in my cart and casually went to the checkout. Off to another store by 5am.

Im looking for seasons of 'Two and a Half Men" Walmart has 1-5 for about $130. Found a site that has it for $89/$10 s&h but not familiar with them so im not sure.

YES! If you want the BF doorbuster adjustment price you must go during those hours! i.e. 5am-1pm etc. One yr I got the Westi 22" monitor for full price the day before (make sure model #'s are exact) and got the $199 adj. on BF.

In this weeks paper, 11/16, Kmart is advertising early BF pricing. The element 26" LCD is $299 this week. Went to one store to get it then a price adj tomorrow. They pulled them and wouldn't sell me one. Went to another store...teenage boys working and i got one! I dont think they knew they were on sale tomorrow. I had planned on getting the Target 26" Sylv. on BF but now dont have to get in line!!

Shopping online...love the no tax!! Although according to tonights newscast..this may be coming to an end soon.

The color ad scan def. shows $224, but the ad list scan says $425. when you click the little camera icon in the list, the Wii photo comes up but without the price. hmmmmmm.

Im kinda glad there's no 'amazing deals'. BB is to hard core for me...ppl lined up the day before during TG dinner. If there was something i really wanted, I know id have no chance. I feel better knowing Im not missing out on anything!

When i find chocolate 6 months to a year later, Easter/Halloween, the chocolate has turned a funny color.

I went to one of my radio stations that usually plays Top 40 music and was surprised to hear Christmas music! I forgot they start Nov 1st. Today it was almost 70 degrees (unusual for Michigan) and I just wasnt feeling it.

We always have a large group and do buffet style. I think everything stays warmer and remains that way set up in the kitchen for second helpings!

Im so sorry for your loss. But maybe it was a blessing that no one knew she was ill at that last Christmas, for that last Christmas with her is untainted and filled with wonderful memories. And as hard as it is to lose someone and after seeing so many loved ones linger and suffer with cancer, perhaps it was a blessing for her as well that she passed on so quickly. I wish you the best.

I think BB&B will be fine. Bridal registries alone should keep them afloat. Their 20% off coupons make things affordable and they allow u to use up to 5. They are higher priced then say Target but they have a larger selection, ie. bedding etc. I think their quality is a bit higher as well.

This makes me sad...afew locations closed near me leaving one. I liked having another option to Bedbath&beyond....especially when they took each others coupons. Funny, Linens and Things just put out a 20% off coupon in this week sale papers saying 'they wont be undersold'.

I stopped going to the VC in Roseville years ago...I'm near St. Hgts. It always seemed so dirty and disorganized. Loved their shoes though! Maybe I'll make last stop to catch a deal.

I've noticed in the past, especially CVS, they dont go on sale right away. Seems some ppl wait til the weekend to celebrate so they dont put the candy on sale till after the first weekend of Val Day. At least what I've seen.

I was just at mine yesterday and was surprised at how many aisles of Christmas stuff! So many of the themed ornaments for $1! I got a pretty beaded runner, 14.99 for $3! Pretty gift bags for a quarter and smaller ones for .13 I love hobby lobby, especially that half the store is always 50%, if it not theres usually a 40% off coupon or the other half will go on sale eventually!
