Walmart also has it for $79.87

That's cool. How did she get that "job"? And how old is your cousin?
-
So, you got a $50 Lego set for $15, or a $100 set for $40?!!
-
I love the VS secret sale!!! I don't shop there often, a little pricey, but worth it. I got a bunch of different bras in great colors for like 6 bucks each! The quality is top notch, they're all I wear, and after a few years they are still in the condition I bought them in.

That's the truth!!!! If you park in front of the entrance, it seems your a mile away from the exit!

How about this ona at Wal-mart? Not sure about the brand though.http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=3610576

Consumer Reports has some great info on different types of TV's. I shyed away from the plasma because of the "burn-in" effect. www.consumerreports.org/cro/electronics-computers/tvs.htm

** UPDATE** Friends & Family Code with Penneys
angel-too replied to christmasangel's topic in Online Hot Deals
I used it and it worked, I wanted to order a white gold diamond cross for my Goddaughters baptism, it was on sale $149.99, w/ coupon $119. But they wanted $17 for shipping! I think I'll go to the store tonight to see if I can get a deal. -
does the coupon say regular priced items? Or what does the fine print say? Sometimes it says not available on prior purchases. It's worth a shot, if your there, just take the reciept and ask for price adjustment.

:sidesplit Now that's funny!!!!!!!!!!

I was there on BF and thought their items were really neat. I liked the gift wrap too, the bright neon colors, I bought one pk. for a few of my 16 yr. old DD's gifts.

They are so warm and cozy, and a great gift because you made it. Select a fleece print and a cooridinating solid of about 2 yds. each (I work on the floor) Lay the two pieces together down with the right sides facing out, you'll have to trim off uneven edges. Cut a 4"x4" square off each corner, then cut 4" long strips about an inch apart along each of the four sides for tie/fringe. Then proceed to tie each print/solid strip in a knot. Vuala!! you have a beautiful handmade gift!!!

I would hope this alert is put out to the drivers, to look out for suspicious cars following them.
-
How about a nice fleece throw? Store bought or the tie ones you make. All kinds of great prints at the fabric store.
-
More like how do I get in the mood NOT to shop!! On days I don't go out, I think at least I won't spend any money today, but then I make up for it online!
-
I checked those out online after the commercial, but the 4 pk requires an adapter for an extra $10. Plus I have so much hooked up to my tree already. Its pluged into a revolving base so the tree turns. So having the illuminations spiining around the living room walls might be a little much.

It seems the blue/white/silver are VERY popular. I was at Wal-mart today and they had more blue/silver than anything else. All I wanted was a 24 pack of red bulbs. They didn't come in red. Go figure!

Oh, not boring at all, there's more than just two colored ornaments. Lots of accessories........... ribbons, bows, etc. Actually there are whole aisles in the stores dedicated for theme trees, go down one once and see all that is offered, so many unique things. Don't want to brag, but anyone who sees my tree oohs and ahhhs. My biggest compliment comes from my stepson, he says my tree looks like something from Marshall Fields, and it always feels like Christmas at our house........... Oh and by the way, my tree turns, its on a revolving base.

I have theme tree. Red and gold. Red pointsetias, red cardinals with long feathery tails, berries, bows, and red velvet/gold trim looped loosely from the top to the bottom in four sections. Also alot of berry branches sticking out all over. Alot of work, 3-4 hrs. but I love the result. It's funny, when I was growing up we had a mixed tree, colored lights, colored ornaments, tinsel and tinsel like garland. When I grew up I knew I wanted a theme tree. My 16 yr. old grew up with my trees, says when she's on her own, she's having a mixed tree!

Neither really, But I do have a fiber optic snowman. I LOVE fiber optic. Remember when it was considered tacky? Like the fiber optic bouquets at the mall? Believe it or not, I saw a fiber optic nativity set the other day, it was beautiful, really! Not cheesy at all. If it was bigger, I would have bought it.
-
I got my tree up today, glad that's out of the way, about a 3-4 hr job. I don't know what I hate more, dragging all the dcorations UP from the basement or dragging them back down!

My daughter is 16 and all her gifts are still labeled "From Santa". I never thought of giving any of her christmas gifts from mom and dad. I figured we do birthdays and Santa does Christmas.

I waited till today to order some things on Amazon.com............the deals were the same as the weekend. Oh well, they have great prices anyways.
