  1. It's called the WiiU i think? Supposedly it's coming out for the Holiday 2012 Season. The main controller is a touchpad.
  2. No American Express in my family since most stores don't even accept it... I have Visas and 1 mastercard (my paypal debit) that's all...
  3. +1 Only Toys & that other stuff are 10 PM sales
  4. That'll only happen if the prices say they're only good from until 8 AM. Prices for doorbusters on BF are usually good until 12 PM or even closing.
  5. I've had the chance to see people who gave away their ticket... no one that sold it yet. Although I also did see a guy steal a ticket... really messed up and pissed everyone in line off but we couldn't do a thing. I'd rather run into the first type.
  6. This year we are super busy! I work 10 hours on Wed. Getting off work and driving for about 1.5 hours to my BF's mom's house. Wake up early on Thurs to get the paper on Thanksgiving. Leave around 10 AM to drive another 1 hour to his family friend's house to eat at 11 AMish. Stay for about 1 hour. Head to his aunt's house, eat, and stay maybe til 3 PMish. Head to my parents' house with another 2.5 hours of driving and eat dinner. Head out to stores at maybe 8 PM... shop until maybe 5 AM. Go home and crash...
  7. Yeah... it's not going to my location either. It gives me the Target a few cities over. Do you think they don't have all locations ready?
  8. I don't think there's ever a set time for camping out. People treat black friday like concerts or premieres now. If you don't have a family to spend thanksgiving with then why not? If you're tired of the same old thing then why not? If you make a mini vacation of it and spend fun casual time with loved ones (like the couple that got ipads last year) then why not? Same could be said for people that couldn't afford items otherwise, those that want their 5-min of fame, and those that just want to. Whatever the reasons, they don't think they're wasting their time.
  9. Glad I don't need to go online for stuff at best buy this year. We were over halfway to silver this year but I'm kinda glad we weren't because I'd be super pissed.
  10. Starbeck actually already posted this. I think most of us are wondering if we could still layaway ticketed items by that are available earlier. A lot of people wouldn't mind having the item in their cart while they wait but they don't usually let you walk around with those items before paying.
  11. I usually bring just the ad and a list... but this year I have my smart phone so I've made an excel sheet for my purchases that I can see on my phone.
  12. I really think I'm just going to bring a small cross-body type bag this year. I'm debating just having my wallet but I'm afraid I'm not that used to just having a wallet anymore. I need a bag but one I don't have to worry about leaving somewhere.
  13. The ad? It states which ones are available at 10 PM, 12 AM, and 8 AM.
  14. I think Wal-Mart is the only store advertising the Wii version. TRU said all Skylander Starter Packs are $20 off though so I think that'd include the Wii one. They also have the skylander accessories at BOGO so it's cheaper than Kmart with $7.99 for 2 single-packs or $19.99 for 2 three-packs.
  15. When I've done things like this in the past there's usually a designated entrance they'll have opening early. Ask your store how they're handling it.
  16. If you get another paycheck or two by that date then it makes perfect sense to put it a larger item or more stuff on layaway. Do any of the employees on this board have any info regarding layaway restrictions for black friday deals in toys, electronics, and fine jewelry?
  17. Yeah I was wondering that too. This is when multiple people comes in handy. I think I might ask my dad to park his butt at Wal-mart and watch a cart while my mom and I run off and shop at other places. I'll then try to get back before 8 AM to take over.
  18. I've been debating this for a while... should I bother getting the Blue Wii from Wal-Mart this year? I know there are rumors that the Wii U will be coming out in time for the Holiday 2012 season. Any guesses on the trade-in value/ retail for that? Do you think the $100 price tag is worth it?
  19. I'm going to check with my store then :) this makes me all sorts of excited.
  20. I remember being given one rebate with information for a website where I could print out additional rebate forms myself. I think they were doing it to save their own paper/money. I'm sure they'll do something similar.
  21. I think it really just depends on your store. In past years I've been to one that had 1 designated door then 5 min after the other would open. There were 2 designated doors. There were internal and external. Some doors had larger supplies than others (I was sent to another door near customer service once since mine at the main external entrance ran out). I suggest you just ask how they're doing it.
  22. It's rare for a computer not to have one these days. If anything you should only wonder about netbooks but even most of those will have one.
  23. That's good to know. I'm eager to see the links they have in various ads go live with more deals!
  24. I believe I read they would price match this year but I would double check with Wal-Mart since I can't find the quote.
  25. I'm wondering the same thing. I noticed they were advertising layaway especially for the TVs. Makes you wonder...
