I want to do something really cool that they would all fight over - maybe a gift package of stuff that isn't available in the states but they would love. Any ideas???

I am a sponsor/host family to one of the players of the local hockey team and what he wants for Christmas is ....get this.... ketchup flavored potato chips. The only place these are available is in Canada. Can anyone help me?

I just checked the status of my order from the 19th and it says - "Submitted" -

Well - the computer system said they had 4 but if they did, someone hid them REALLY well. I looked in with the other lego's, in sporting goods behind the camping tents, behind the pillows, behind the water coolers, I looked EVERYWHERE... ooooh, I forgot to look under the registers and in the stock room. Darn the luck.

I just did this and another store about 10 miles away says "In Stock" so I'm going there at lunch. If they have them I will buy all they have and let everyone know.

Which store do you shop in? I'll race you there!!

There are TONS of markdowns in my store.... mainly because they are just now getting to marking down stuff that has been gone for weeks in your stores.. I like it though - I can see what is on clearance everywhere else and know what to watch for here!!

I am so excited I can hardly type... My stores are about 6 weeks behind everyone else on the clearance stuff - so when everyone was talking about the Harry Potter legos a while back, I went to my store and they were still full price $89.xx. There were about 12 of them on the shelf, so I moved one down a little bit and mixed it in with the Star Wars ones. Yesterday (since I know that toys get marked down on Wednesday) I went to check on these. There were still 8 of them on the shelf, but they were still $68.xx. No markdown yet. This morning I was there at 8:00 when the doors opened and there were NONE!!! How could this be? I was there last night when they closed and there 8 of them. Soooo - I took mine out from the Star Wars sets, price checked it and sure enough ... $22.48! I took it to the register and the cashier looked at me with this awful look on her face and said, "Where did you find this?" I just sort of giggled and said I had been watching it for months. She said that she had rang up 8 of them already this morning for the employees and they had told her there weren't any more! Oh well...

Does anyone know when Target will start to put out their Christmas decorations (tree ornaments) and gift wrap? TIA.

I am still debating whether I will shop there or not. On the one hand I am really mad and think that I should not give them any of my money, but on the other hand, I think they lose money on some of the BF things, i.e. the laptops and I would therefore be taking their money if I didn't buy anything other than things that they are losing money on. Decisions, decisions.

I went to Target yesterday - The Harry Potter legos are finally on clearance...for $68.xx!!! I put one behind the Star Wars legos and hope that it will still be there when the price drops again <fingers crossed>. But... My boyfriend is a HUGE Family Guy fan and the Volume 5 DVD collector's edition just came out. It was in the circular for $29.99 but the sign on the shelf said "AS ADVERTISED FAMILY GUY VERSION FIVE $19.99." SWEET!!! Saved $10. Also got the pink skillet - $9.xx. My stores (all 6 of them) are so far behind everyone on this board - when you guys find deals, mine are still full price and don't go 30% for weeks. It's great though because I know what to watch. Our college 07 stuff is only 30% now. The futons everyone got last month - are still $105 here!! Can't wait.

I carry the Target coupon policy in my purse for this very reason!!!

I am thinking about buying one of these to assist in gift wrap this year - but I can't find reviews anywhere other than the testimonials on their own site. Has anyone ever used this? Is it worth it? TIA.

I checked the number in the item finder and it shows "limited availability" in 4 of 5 stores within 20 miles of me. Of course the finder saying it's there doesn't mean much, but I will be in 3 of those stores this evening and will see if I can find one.
