I was at the Wal-mart in Pearl, Mississippi, and here they are $18.88. I bought one last week after that $9.98 price error.

Yes they will. The price is on the outside of the box and this computer had its own UPC code. They are still ringing up at the BF price. There are a LOT of employees that want these though so you will have to be there early and ask for a manager.

Tonight is the last night to pick up layaways at Wal-mart. If anyone put the laptop on layaway and doesn't pick it up by close tonight, it's fair game tomrrow morning. If you are still looking for a laptop, call your local store and ask if there were any that weren't picked up!

Be VERY careful about leaving your layaway at Wal-Mart. I worked in the layaway department of a Wal-Mart 2 Christmas seasons and they close on the 15th and don't reopen until after Christmas. If you leave it there you won't be able to pick it up until after Christmas!

I'm sorry, I misunderstood your question. If it is within 14 days, you can price adjust it. Keep in mind though that if it was one of those spend so much $$ get this free or something like that, they will deduct the retail price of the free thing if the adjustment means you spent below that amount. Does what I just said make sense?

Toys R Us does not price match. In March 2005 TRU was bought out by a private company and is no longer publicly traded. When the private company bought them, they discontinued the price match policy and lowered their prices all around. Seriously though, what time should we get in line if we want one of these? The law firm that I work for has pooled enough money to purchase one for the children's home and we will take turns sitting in the chair to keep our place but how early should we get there?

Keep in mind too that any layaways that aren't picked up by the 15th will be returned to the shelf for others to purchase. So if there is anything special that you are looking for and have been unable to find, you should make nice with the layaway associate and ask them to call you if one comes off of layaway. ****This includes the laptops from BF. If they don't pick them up by closing on the 15th, they are free game at the time they open on the 16th! ****
