Every time a new Wal-Mart opened where I used to live, the union boycotts and picketed. There wasn't even a strong union presence, but yet the boycotted and picketed. When you spoke to the people who were boycotting, they weren't even from the area. They were hired guns from the union transplanted staying in nice hotels collecting a union wage to boycott Wal-Mart. Hello, they wouldn't have shopped there or been picketing if the unions had not paid their plane tickets, hotel bills and meal moneys to be there. it was the most ridiculous thing I had ever seen IN MY LIFE. I am a proud Wal-Mart shopper. I believe in low prices, but I shop in several different stores for different reasons, and I feel that as consumers we should be able to make our own minds up without this propaganda being stirred. I'm not so sure that the best thing we can do this Christmas for our sanity is to just turn the TV off!

Poor baby, I have seen several 79.00 deals, but nothing better than that. My two year old is playing with his brother's so I totally understand. You might hold out for the Wal-Mart thing to see what they have coming up....he might not wait though.

You know, this must really be a regional "hot item" I was at my TRU yesterday and they had a ton of these things...I am in West Texas.

There are actually some states that don't allow loss leader promotions...states having some items at a loss...I think Wisconsin is one.

Well, I have wanted one of the new CD's that came out on Tuesday. Our store didn't get them. They won't issue me an explanation, and as a matter of a fact get mean and rude when you ask about them, eventhough they have signage up advertising the cd in stock. I am honestly not too sure why I was even back in the store after the black friday computer fiasco, but I guess I am not too bright.

The only people I can't get into the shopping mood for are the ones I don't give a flying rat's butt for but have to buy presents for anyway...what am I supposed to buy for them? You know those relatives that you have to buy for and you want them to think that you spent good money on, but you really didn't....other than that, the money flows freely! Burn baby burn!!

Yep, I just got finished charging up the Gameboys yesterday. My husband walks in and says "honey you are not playing with the kids games!" I said, not I am just preventing them from complaining when they open the gifts and have to wait for them to charge!

Yes, but that would have been funny and cute...this is just plain ugly, and there is a difference. People would have at least gotten that rather than staring at this hideous tree.

I bought a $10 Fiber optic tree at Wal-Mart for my Office Today. I decided what the heck.....I'll buy a little tree for my office. How bad can a $10 tree be? BAD BAD Bad...You remember the pitiful little tree from Charlie brown? That tree had nothing on this pitiful little tree. When you walk in wal-mart stay away from the $10 tree, no matter how cheap it looks.

I think we are over 2,000 on Christmas...We spend a ton on Christmas each year. We like to think of Chrstimas like crazy times because you just don't know who will get to be there with you next year to celebrate too! The voices in my head say buy buy buy

Are you an online shopper...and are you a person who is in the middle of a bunch of stores or are you out in the middle of nowhere? That will help people when they find deals.

I would call customer care and see if they can reorder it for you at the sale price when you explain the whole ordeal. Cry...crying always works.

I don't know, but AOL has lost so many people's information over the last few years, that I would definitely be down at CC making sure that they get it straight. I would not be calling AOL giving them any information OVER THE PHONE. Keep your information safe before you end up living out of that computer box!

Want to Get Satellite Radio, but am totally ignorant. Want to be able to move it around. I would like to have it at home, at work and in the car. Would also like to be able to afford to eat. Have been given the song and dance at Best buy and am smart enough to know that I don't need to sell a kidney on the black market for satellite radio. Does anyone have it? What do you have? Are there any great deals out there that y'all have taken advantage of over the past few days for a great system?

I purchased one of these and then ended up giving it to my mom, but she hasn't really said anything about it one way or the other. We have Sony Mavica's...the CD kind, so I know about the slow writing...it's like I didn't know how slow until I was taking pictures with my new Wally world camera. You should really like this new camera though!

We just moved up here from south TExas, and were afraid we were moving away from Kohl's but they opened one up here just in time for us...my husband wishes they wouldn't have...Thanks for the information on another sale...
