  1. Yeah, I'll stick to the tools, which for what I'm looking for, I can put that off until later in the day.
  2. Thanks! I may actually have BF off, now. There are some good deals on hand tools and toolboxes that I may have to get in on. Anyone know any details about the $799.99 32" LCD TV?
  3. I have not. However, since my newer phone has an MP3 player on it, I could put something from Trans-Siberian Orchestra on it. Right now it's and MP3 clip of Always With You - Joe Satriani.
  4. OK, well, I guess Papa John's isn't too popular here.
  5. Starbuck's or Barnes and Noble gift cards are usually winners.
  6. There was a Papa John's near me, and it was good stuff. Not as good as the local pizza places, but it was much better than Pizza Hut and Domino's.
  7. Papa John's Pizza Enter promo code TREAT to get free cheesesticks with your order. Valid until 10/31/2005. Mmmmmm....yummy! http://www.papajohns.com/menu/productshots/images/product_cheesesticks.jpg Blockbuster Trial offer with any Papa John's online order.
  8. Walmart has marked all their Halloween costumes 50% off starting today (Oct 28th, 2005). This is a nation-wide pricing, so if you have drug your feet on getting a costume, you just got yourself a deal!
  9. Must have been a price mistake, this is now no longer valid. I'm not military or family, so I can't login, but I thought I would pass the deal along. Here's the specs on the laptop. If any military personel wants to get one for me, let me know. I'd gladly pay that price for a 700m. Dell 700m - $391 Intel® Pentium® M Processor 735 (1.70 GHz/400MHz FSB)12.1-in WXGA Genuine Windows® XP Home PC Restore recovery system by Symantec 512MB DDR SDRAM 2 Dimms 24X CD Burner/DVD Combo Drive 40 GB Hard Drive
  10. That's great! Good for you for getting them to do it.
  11. I'm guessing K-Mart will only match the $169.15 if they match anything at all. Still, that's $30 in your pocket and not their's.
  12. If you haven't opened it, I would recommend returning it. You can get the set at Dell (link) for $169.15 - $20 Dell E&A coupon (link) "$?89Q0$SJ4D?1S" applied at checkout. That brings the set to $149.15.
  13. Looks like a great keyboard. I'll probably pick one up as a gift for my brother-in-law.
  14. When do you get together with family? If you're married, how do you decide who's family to get together with? When do you open gifts? What's for dinner? Christmas has been my favorite holiday for a long time. It's the only time that my family gets back together, and we all have a great time. It's great to be able to find the right gift for someone and to see them open it. The her side / my side thing works out nicely, because it's tradition for her side to make home-made pizza and open gifts on Christmas Eve. My family gets together on Christmas day. My immediate family opens gifts together in the morning and then we get the extended family all together for a huge dinner. One of my uncles is a chef, so he usually makes Prime Rib. The rest of us chip in by bringing a dish for everyone and then we all clean up afterwards.
  15. I only use it for giving stuff away. It's a good way to clear out uneeded items to people that have a good use for them. If it's something like a weight bench or furniture, I'll list it for a low price on www.craigslist.org first, and if it doesn't sell within a couple of weeks, I'll put it on Freecycle.
  16. Mine showed up today, so the rest of you who are waiting should expect your cameras to show up soon. I didn't get a shipping notice, so it was kind of a suprise that it did show today.
  17. Those air tools seemed to be priced pretty well. I had no idea that there was one so close to where I live.
  18. Yeah, not a good idea, then. Are there any home repairs that they need done or any appliances that they need to have replaced?
  19. I get them a GC to a nice restaurant and put it in a card for both of them.
  20. Yeah, no test drive offer for me either. At least I got a free coaster out of it. :)
  21. If you take video, yes it is. If not, it's not a huge difference. I know the larger LCD on my Canon G5 made a huge difference in knowing when I had taken a good shot or not.
  22. It finally shipped. A full 17 days after I ordered. I'm glad I'm getting my stuff, but it's not a good way to run a business.
  23. Thanks, Brad! This is much better to use, now.
  24. Side-By-Side comparison Looking at that comparison, I would definitely go with the Z20. The only advantage that the newer Z30 has over it is the MP rating. In fact it looks like the lens and sensor on the Z20 are both better than the Z30. I would get the Z20 over the Z5, because you get a slightly larger LCD screen and audio with the video setting.
  25. You can get it here. I wear mine a lot. I'm washing it weekly, so I know it's getting good use. I've had people at Home Depot, Pick N' Save, Piggly Wiggly, Walgreens, Best Buy and Radio Shack ask about it. I don't usually have anything printed out, but when I shop I have a pocket notebook, so I'll write the url down for them, so they can remember the name to check it out later. At Best Buy, I actually pulled the site up on one of their display computers to show the guy, and left it there when we were done.
