Historically, the Apple items don't go on sale. Their price is set by the company. Not sure how they get away with that as Nike and many others have gotten slapped for price fixing

Always go to SILs house to drop off gifts and the kiddos get to open one gift, which is ALWAYS their Christmas jammies

I don't usually shop Wal-Mart early as it is dangerous here but I know that a few hours later, sometimes the stuff is still in stock so I assume they've restocked?

We have a Santa's milk and cookie set that Stepmom bought for the kids when they were little. We still put it out every year

DH put his foot down about 10 years ago and said no more driving on Christmas Day. We can drive any other day but this is one day of the year we are staying home. I happen to LOVE it.

We moved to an old victorian house with 12 ft ceilings too. I'm not sure I'd want it too far off the floor as we like seeing it in the large front window when you pull up. A thought to think about though. 3 weeks till the tree goes up!

Not a clue what my Mother is getting. She loves jewelry so it's always a good standby and someone always has good jewelry sales all the way up to Christmas. I love Kohls and Sears jewelry depts for halfway decent stuff

They come down after New Years IF they get up outside. Some years they do, some years they don't

Usually get some individual package stuff for the stockings but besides that, it's usually Christmas cookies galore!
